Alan Goldberg’s luck is about to change. He’s a frustrated slasher films scriptwriter in the Hollywood of 1985, and Helen Westmore, an eccentric millionaire, will grant him any wish if he can find out about the whereabouts of the last, unpublished work of genius horror director Edward Keller, considered to be the scariest film of all time.
Alan will find his way amongst B-films production companies, VFX workshops, religious cults, and a small haunted town called Serena, the dark reputation of which began when Keller was last seen there.

Ein richtig gutes, die großartige Story in den Vordergrund stellendes Point-and-Click. Relaxing nach einem langen Arbeitstag. Super Dialoge. Stimmige Grafik. Nichts für Kinder ;-).

This has to be one of the best stories i experienced in a game for a long, long time. It's starting like 8MM but evolves into something way more sinister and dark. Seriously, you HAVE to play that game, the story will not let go of you for a while. This is absolutely brilliant Indie game craftmanship at it's best.

Ein aktuelles Spiel (2020er), dass im 1990er-Look die 1980er aufleben lässt. Und die Horrorfilme der 80er. Oder besser gesagt: Grausam sterben lässt. Die Geschichte ist düster und absolut nichts für Jugendliche! Für Point & Click-Fans im Pixel-Style ein Muss! Die "fehlende" Vertonung der Stimmen ist am Anfang gewöhnungsbedürftig, wurde für mich aber im Verlauf ein Pluspunkt, da man sich anders auf die Geräusche und Atmosphäre einlässt und es dem Spiel einen gechillteren Flow gibt. Aber auch wenn man die fehlenden Audios nur so "halbgut" findet, sollte man dieses Spiel nicht skippen!
P.S. Bei mir lief es sehr stabil.

Fantastisches Adventure in einem einzigartigen Setting. Man spielt einen Drehbuchautoren für Horrorfilme auf der Suche nach einem verloren gegangen Film, der es in sich hat. Wer so Adventure wie Black Mirror oder zuletzt auch The Excavation of Hob's Barrow mag, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.
Ich finde es auch nochmal besser als An English Haunting, welches vom gleichen Entwickler letztes Jahr raus kam.
