Night Call
A mysterious serial killer stalks the streets of modern-day Paris. The body count rises, and the police are no closer to catching the culprit. You are a taxi driver and survivor to the killer’s most recent attacks, having barely escaped with your life. You have seven nights to help find the killer, or the police will pin it on you. These next few shifts will be far from ordinary or safe… Night Call is a non-linear, narrative-driven noire investigation game. You are no detective, but you do have a gift. Around you, people feel more at ease. They talk. They share their thoughts, their emotions, their stories… their secrets. To passengers, you are more than just a driver; you are also a friend, a confidant, a shrink. A voyeur catching a glimpse under the masked but very real lives throughout the City of Light. And you’ll need to play these roles well if you want to catch the killer. Use the limited time you have available each night to gather clues while earning money to pay your bills. Drive passengers to their destinations, hear their stories and choose your responses carefully—some are just regular people with a tale to tell, while others might reveal a clue that’s key to your investigation. Follow the right leads to uncover new info about the suspects, and don’t forget to make enough money to buy gas and pay your bills.

This game instantly immerses you in the noir vibe of nighttime Paris.Dialogues are brilliant - vivid, emotional, and incredibly engaging.Every passenger brings a unique story, and thanks to the excellent writing, they feel real and memorable.I think I will get all the achievements in the game one day.The melodies in the game are moody, stylish, ambient, and perfectly matched to the tone of the game. They create an atmosphere of mystery, comfort, and a hint of melancholy.I love it.I am happy to have found this game. If only it had more languages available, it would definitely attract even more fans around the world. But if you speak one of the languages featured in the game - buy it!I have experienced all three endings, and it was truly a fascinating journey.

Night Call isn’t really a detective game, and I think that’s why I loved it. It surprised me in the most unexpected way. I was a bit unsure after the first crime, but the more I played, the more I was pulled into it. You might be asked to solve crimes, but you don’t do it by chasing clues ... you do it by listening. Talking to people, letting them talk, and sometimes just being there.
It’s surprisingly calm for a game about crime. As you play, you get pulled into people’s lives ... their pain, their confusion, their hopes… and every now and then, you recognise parts of yourself in their stories. Definitely not for everyone, but very much my cup of tea. A quiet little gem that deserves more love.

I ADORE this game! The story, the characters, the converstations, the atmosphere, it's so.. cozy? The hours flew by and I was sad it had to end. But I saw there were different modes/difficulties, and I only met a fraction of the characters, so I'll definitely play again. I have a feeling I'll play through it multiple times in the future.
I do wish there were voice acting, it would really make the characters come to life. Maybe for a sequel? Please, more people need to play this game so the taxi driver can continue his journey!

A great game, unfortunately brought down by a massive amount of bugs. Well worth the time tho.

I had started Night Call a few years back when it was free on Xbox Gamepass but never finished. It was a little glitchy back then but I enjoyed. The Steam version seems to have been updated and is a much smoother experience. The stories are good (sometimes very strange) but things do get a bit repetitive. Overall, a good experience.

Really chill and nice game, some moving stories and some that are really funny. Love most of the achivements, except for the passidex one which is bugged. Se community guides for how to solve it.

If you're looking for a neo-noir detective game then continue your search elsewhere. If you're looking for an atmospheric visual novel where you get to hear people from all different walks of life open up on their hopes and fears, then it might be for you.
Despite the marketing, Night Call is hardly a mystery game. The actual mystery element feels tacked on and if it was removed you'd hardly notice a difference. The actual draw of the game for me was being able to act as a confidant to the taxi passengers, which felt very grounded and fitting for the mood of the game.
