Nex Machina

Nex Machina is an intense arcade style twin-stick shooter from Housemarque. Taking hints from both Robotron and Smash TV, Nex Machina focuses on pure action, voxel destruction and competition in the distant, cablepunk themed future. It's difficult, intensely satisfying, and packed with enough secrets and lofty secondary objectives to keep you enraptured for hours.

Awesome bullethell twinstick shooter with pixelperfect movement.
Especially during the bosses i got so many times in a zen like status, just going with the flow and dodging like mad all projectiles.

Arcade delight!
Criminally overlooked, pure frantic joy from start to finish - surprisingly even, tight, fun package deserving much more spotlight than it got. What's very important for many players - it can boast an impressive balance of difficulty and pace. While it does draw handfuls from the genre and is entirely focused on twin-stick action - it doesn't really resemble more cruel and hellishly difficult classics of the bullet-hell genre. Personally, I was afraid it will be a considerable bump on the road to enjoyment, but I was proven to be dead wrong. Challenging, but just the right amount and never to to point of annoyance and alienation, even playing on M+K.
'Must play' and from Housemarque's offerings on PC- certainly their best game so far. And still looks and sounds awesome.
Grab it and recommend it to your friends!

Insane Bullet Hell/Twin stick shooter hybrid. Really smooth and satisfying gameplay that keeps you coming back for more and trying to beat your scores. Plenty of challenging achievements to keep you engaged and high skill ceiling that rewards well practiced players.
Housemarque are well known now as Returnal was a big hit but they've been putting out underrated bangers for a while and Nex Machina is a certified banger, pick it up for some intense high skill bullet hell action.

This is my favourite game ever and I am not kidding. It is by far the most immersive game I have ever played.
Places you right in the zone. The music is absolutely fantastic, the eye candy on the screen is just a marvel and game play is superb. A master piece, no doubt! Thanks for creating this! I hope it will get a follow up at some stage!

Frantic Twin-Stick Sci-Fi Bullet Hell!
Dodge numerous lasers like Charlie's Angels and have lots of fun!

Maybe the best twin stick shooter I've played to date and it still has me returning to it after 4 years since its release. Highly recommended! (9.5/10)

This is just an incredibly well made game, the absolute pinnacle of the twin stick shooter genre. These days, twin stick shooters are going roguelite with permanent upgrades leading to the game getting easier the more you play it - it's not a trend I'm completely opposed to, Synthetik is a magnificent game - but it does make the work of balancing the game easier for the creator and it locks a large amount of gameplay mechanics from a fresh player. Nex Machina is having none of that, going full old school arcade, everything unlocked from the start. No random level generation as well, every arena is designed by someone who knows the genre, the progression of difficulty is great and the level design / transitions are wonderful. It really saddens me that I'm the only person left on Earth who's a bad enough dude to appreciate this work of art and that its developers (including the legendary Eugene Jarvis of Vid Kidz) were not able buy themselves lambos and whatnots.
