Travel through a world of neon, solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles. This experience requires focus, concentration, and timing to let the ball rolling as fast as you can. Remember… in a world made of neons… you will need balls to survive. Neonwall is an innovative game that mixes the genres of puzzle and action to develop an addictive and frenetic gameplay. You do not handle the ball, you interact with it and the world around it. The objective is to take the ball to the goal avoiding the obstacles that block the way.

Quickie review, as its the last day of the sales and this thing deserves more love.
Played on Index with Index controllers.
Saw this deeply discounted and figured why not. I honestly wasnt expecting much. Right off the bat, thing didnt want to start (launching from within VR dashboard)! Tried twice, then decided to launch from desktop where I was presented with a few options - this way worked, yay!
There was a little intro, small flair which plenty of indie games forgo (for better or worse). When greeted with the menu I wasnt completely liking the navigation. You had to point and hold aim for a second to select things, felt like a Vive 2016 tech demo, my expectations were dropping >_<;
Into the game I go. Controls are a little odd on Index - you are shown what look like Vive prompts - with you needing to press the little trackpad (or you can use the thumbsticks) to change the colour of the ball. At this point I am thinking I will probably attempt a few levels and just bail...
Within minutes, I was getting used to the controls and new mechanics were being introduced, I found myself getting a bit sucked in TBH! After clearing 14 or so levels, I had such a smile on my face from my brain being fried and laughing at my successes and many failures. This game is actually *a lot of fun*. Fair warning, it does get harder and HaRder anD HARDeRR >_<;
Big thumbs up from me.

Neonwall is part quick-thinking puzzle, and part obstacle course.
A wheel is rolling through a neon world and you have the power to swap the wheel color and change obstacles along the path.
By changing the color of the wheel you’re changing the travel speed depending on which color its rolling on. The wheel color also determines if a door will open up or a bridge turn solid or disappear.
You’ll also need to clear a path by shooting away blocks that match the color of your gun, or rearrange blocks depending on your gun color as well.
What makes things especially challenging is that there are three colors total, but you can only manipulate two colors at a time. In order to manipulate a third color you swap colors by changing the color of the wheel, which will also change the previously mentioned stuff.
All of these factors together make it very challenging. And the later levels will require you to be constantly on your toes.
I haven’t beaten it yet, so I’m unsure what the total playtime is. But it’s an engaging casual puzzler.

Disclaimer: I've received this game for free via Curator Connect.
Minimalistic but brutally challenging VR game that tests quick thinking and planning. It's engaging but too stressful for my liking.
The gameplay is frantic, there is almost no downtime. The Wheel is constantly moving through the level and every few seconds you have to either switch the color of you hand and the Wheel or manipulate/shoot an obstacle. It very easy to make a mistake, while checkpoints are quite far away from each other, and there is an arcade lives system with only up to 4 checkpoint restarts before a level has to be replayed from the very beginning.
Difficulty curve is very steep: after 9th level every victory felt like an impossible task and it only got harder from there. Completing later levels was very satisfying, but I still gave up around 25th out of 40 levels.
Works on Reverb G2

Game is pretty good. Especially if you're looking for a low cost time killer. It's more polished than I expected from looking at the screenshots. Didn't really know what to expect but it's a fun puzzle/platformer. Feels like something that would be on the 3DS eshop.

Got it on sale for $1 and its a steal for that price. Fun little game that will have you on your toes as you are trying to quickly change the colors to match your path. Gives some great retro vibes as well

This game is simple: Get the ball through the level by changing its color but there's a bit more too it. Every 5 levels or so you progress and unlock a new mechanic such as dragging or breaking a block in your path, switching directions, speed boost, jumping, super jumping, and more. I find it to be pretty fun although I WOULD ONLY BUY IT for $0.99 which is what I paid for it or a buck or two more. $10 for this game is not worth it. Looking at the achievements only 5% of players play for more than 2 hours and 25% don't even beat the first level LOL. There are many bugs and glitches such as the menu buttons not working when you pause. When this happens you are forced to restart your game and lose progress. In my 2 hours of playing I have completed 30 levels and I think there are 50 total. So for $1 I would give it a try.
