Combining furious run ‘n’ gun action and deep, roguelike mechanics, Neon Abyss pits you as a member of ‘Grim Squad’ – a task force set-up by Hades himself to infiltrate the Abyss and defeat the New Gods. Death is not the end as every time you die, you’ll find yourself more empowered than before. As you progress through each dungeon, random item drops will be key in helping you infiltrate the Abyss and these passive effects can stack between every item. With no limit to how many can apply; a wide variety of combinations will make each run unique. With each run, you will be able to unlock new rooms, items, bosses, special rules and even new endings! This means each dungeon is unique and expandable, being tailored to your own specific playstyle. Hatch and Evolve Pets If you need some company on your journey into the depths of the abyss, or just some additional firepower or assistance, eggs can be found which will turn into a random pet that has a special ability and will evolve the longer you survive. Mini-Games Take a short break from slaying minions and take part in random mini-games that will also bag you some loot! Jump into Piano Performances, Meditation Challenge, Dance Competitions, and more – staying alive just got a lot more interesting!

Roguelike con ciertos toques de estilo cyberpunk con una narrativa simple pero una rejugabilidad interesante por la gran variedad de objetos, armas y mascotas.
Lo bueno:
+ La cantidad de objetos, armas, y mascotas además del sistema procedural lo hacen muy rejugable.
+ La banda sonora y efectos de sonido.
+ Los gráficos con estilo pixel art son detallados y las animaciones bien elaboradas.
Lo malo:
- La dificultad de los bosses no tiene término medio, o son muy fáciles o infernálmente difíciles.
- Tras bastantes horas de juego puede empezar a resultar repetitivo.
- La narrativa es muy simple.
- El azar puede ser clave para conseguir ciertos objetivos especialmente para jugadores no experimentados en el género.
- Hay un bug que por mucho que mates a un boss llamado Cronos no te lo da por hecho.

En xbox tenia como 400 hrs registradas péro hace poco me compre una steamdeck asi que empeze de cero, solo tengo algo que decri: si debes dejar de comer para comprar este juego HAZLO si tienes que abandonar a tus hijos para comprarlo HAZLO y si tienes que perder tu vida social (aunque dudo que tengas) HAZLO.

Game is alright. Thing is:
1. Items are so forgettable, idk why, atleast to me... (I remember probably most of what tboi items do)
2. Bullets aint even dodgeable imo, not even skill issue atleast that's what i think, its just so hard
3. Most of the items i got so far are just "hey if you use the grenade you get cool effect that barely does dmg"
4. When i used to play this on epic games, lightning was sooooo glitchy, and the steam version as far as i know has some bugs, like with the slot machine door, its quite buggy
and yea i say all this knowing that there will be neon abyss 2
but overall the game is quite enjoyable i think, bought it on sale tho

muy buen juego para viciar, lo compre hace muy poco y me gusto muchisimo (Buena mecanicas, buenos personjajes)
