Full Version
das Spiel Hotel: Echoes of the Past! Welcome to the intrigue of the 1950s, where mystery cloaks every corner of My Hotel. Ensure you’re in the loop by adding the game to your Steam Wishlist for the full, thrilling story.
You’ve just landed the role of a lifetime: owner of a hotel that’s seen better days. It’s like stepping into a 1950s adventure movie – the previous owner’s mysterious end, a hotel riddled with secrets, and now, it’s all yours.
Your quest: to transform this relic into a beacon of style and history. Choose from a range of furnishings that span decades, each with its own story to tell.
But it’s not just about the décor. The guests are as varied as they are mysterious, some with quests that will draw you into a tangle of alliances and covert affairs.
Balance these factions carefully to keep your hotel thriving and avoid a fate like your predecessor’s. It’s a game where adventure meets history, and every decision you make is a part of the legend.

Played through the free trial which took about 2 hours.
First impression: A really atmospheric hotel management game
Second impression: Quite little variety to set up the rooms, but okay, it's just a demo
Third impression: Oh nice, there's also some crime aspects within the game to spice things up
Fourth impression: Wasn't I meant to make money with running a hotel? Where are my guests?
Fifth impression: Oh nice, a bar to run
Sixth impression: Aww it's just decoration with set up prices
Seventh impression: What's the impact of the repair quests?
Eighth impression: Did we maybe talk about a fake hotel as a hideout for all kind of gangsters?
Nineth impression: Maybe I should open up a shop for mouse traps instead...
Final conclusion: Small part of running a hotel, but mostly a "do this to support your local criminals" as it's the only way to earn money. Had expected it the other way around and I'm not sure if I like it this way.
A very very slight recommandation to try it out, cause I'm still flashed by the first impressions and the idea of having a hotel business game with a kind of story behind it, but from these first two hours I'm not tempted to buy the final game.

This is very, very promising. It combines a hotel management simulator with an interesting story and renovating program. If this is being worked on properly, it will very extremely good, since it scratches several different itches for those who like these kind of games, namely House Flipper - albeit very minimalistic - Hotel Giant and Titanic.
I name these because this game reminds me of all three, to varying degrees.
This is not to say that this game doesn't have issues, at least in its recent state.
Handling is rather wonky:
You have to directly face a door and be quite close to it to open it. The F key is inconvenient and you can't change controls (at this stage). Apparently Shift+W means running, but the difference is barely noticable. Walking can make you sea sick since they tried to give it a realistic feel, but by that they gave the protagonist a little hop in his step.
Graphics are not exactly up to nowadays' standards - this is also why this very much reminded me of Titanic, because everything is too dark, colors are not pretty, the people look terrible. Of course, this is set in the 50's, but it doesn't have to look as if it was also programmed back then (overstatement, but still).
Music is good, but gets a little dull over time.
The clock only allows time jumps to 8am or 8pm -- maybe it's limited because of that trial version, but its still a little irritating.
Without knowing where this is supposed to go it's hard to say whether this will be good. But as said above, it has a lot of potential and it can be a great game if this potential followed.
