This is a honest review, so I am being honest about this game. I bought this game because of the meme potential and also because I might been a little horny. I was absolutely flummoxed when I started playing this game. This game is a lot more
than just a anthropomorphic porn game. This game is short of a masterpiece. I have never before this game felt the same way that this game made me feel. I have experienced many feelings like anger, sadness and happiness while playing video games, but this is something else. The way Roxy is presented, the music, the art, and even the food they eat, it all somehow connected perfectly, exquisitely may I say. And even though I am a bit sad as these kind of "wolf girls" don't exist in real life, I realized during my playthrough that it is not about the looks but the personality. And I can be happy as people with the same personality as Roxy do exist in the real world. But let's talk about the game for a minute, shall we?
The fact that this absolutely gorgeous girl was met in just a regular store, in a way or another shows that there can be these kind of hidden diamonds anywhere on our lovely Earth. The scripting of this game captures the feelings extraordinarily and the art and music are also the same and they fit in perfectly. This is a great game with fell depicted romance and funny but believable comedy. Though like every game this also has some flaws in it. This game is said to feature multiple choice options and it had two of them and only one of them affected the game play but only slightly.
And I would say that that is my only real complain about this game. The music the scripting and the art of this game as I have said before is very fitting and they all fulfill each other. This game was the first I've played of these games made by Dirty Fox Games, but I will make sure that it isn't the last. A almost perfect masterpiece of a game for it's price a game where I would actually want a sequel for it. I recommend this for anyone who is even a bit interested in romance games
5 out of 5 stars. Thank you Dirty Fox Games for this masterpiece.

"My Furry Neighbour," a charming simulation game on Steam, became a life-altering experience for a player named Alex, who initially sought a brief escape from the relentless pressures of daily life. Juggling work commitments, family obligations, and personal expectations had created a whirlwind of stress and anxiety, leaving Alex feeling overwhelmed and isolated. In search of a distraction, they stumbled upon the game, drawn in by its vibrant visuals and the promise of a whimsical world filled with endearing anthropomorphic animals. What began as a simple diversion quickly evolved into a profound journey of self-discovery and connection that would change Alex's life forever.
Upon entering the colorful world of "My Furry Neighbour," Alex was immediately captivated by its charming landscapes and the diverse array of characters that populated the neighborhood. Each animal possessed a unique personality and backstory, creating a dynamic environment that felt alive and inviting. Players are tasked with caring for these furry neighbors, nurturing relationships, and engaging in various activities that foster a sense of community. For Alex, this theme of connection resonated deeply, serving as a poignant reminder of the importance of nurturing relationships—something they had neglected amidst the chaos of their daily routine.
As Alex immersed themselves in the gameplay, they found joy in completing tasks that involved hosting virtual events, decorating homes, and assisting neighbors with their myriad challenges. Each interaction transformed into a lesson in empathy and understanding, highlighting the significance of being present for others. This focus on community engagement sparked a shift in Alex's perspective, prompting them to reflect on their own relationships and emotional well-being. The characters’ struggles and triumphs mirrored Alex's feelings of isolation, igniting a desire to reconnect with the world outside the screen.
Motivated by the game’s heartwarming messages, Alex began taking actionable steps to enrich their real-life connections. They reached out to friends and family members they had lost touch with, rekindling old friendships that had faded over time. With the enthusiasm reminiscent of their in-game endeavors, Alex organized small gatherings, creating opportunities for meaningful interactions that brought both joy and support. These simple acts of connection revitalized Alex’s social life, fostering a sense of belonging that had been absent for far too long.
But the impact of "My Furry Neighbour" extended well beyond social connections; it ignited a creative renaissance within Alex. Inspired by the game’s whimsical aesthetics and engaging storytelling, they began exploring artistic pursuits, such as drawing and writing. What started as a fun pastime quickly transformed into a passionate exploration of self-expression. Alex found immense joy in crafting their own narratives, often drawing inspiration from the enchanting world of the game. This newfound creativity served as a therapeutic outlet, allowing them to explore their emotions and thoughts in a fulfilling way that had been missing from their life.
Moreover, the skills Alex developed while playing the game—strategic planning, resource management, and adaptive problem-solving—began to seep into their professional life. They noticed a significant boost in confidence at work, enabling them to approach challenges with a positive and proactive mindset. Framing problems as opportunities, much like the characters in "My Furry Neighbour," helped Alex navigate stressors with newfound resilience. Colleagues recognized this shift in attitude, and as a result, collaborative projects flourished, leading to a more harmonious and productive work environment.
As Alex continued to engage with the game, they gained a deeper understanding of community dynamics and the importance of supporting one another. The lessons learned from caring for their furry neighbors inspired them to take action in their own community. Alex began volunteering at a local animal shelter, channeling their love for animals and community service into meaningful contributions. This experience not only allowed them to give back but also instilled a sense of purpose and fulfillment that had been elusive for so long.
The ripple effect of "My Furry Neighbour" extended even further, prompting Alex to reevaluate their self-care practices. They started dedicating time each week to engage in activities that brought them joy, whether it was through gaming, artistic pursuits, or simply spending quality time with friends and family. This commitment to self-improvement resulted in a more balanced and fulfilling life, rich with meaningful relationships and creative expression.
Alex also found that the game had subtly encouraged them to embrace vulnerability. Sharing their artistic creations with friends and seeking feedback became a new source of joy, rather than a source of anxiety. The encouragement they received motivated Alex to participate in local art shows, showcasing their work and building connections within the artistic community. This newfound confidence in their creative abilities opened doors to collaborations and friendships that enriched their life even further.
The transformative journey did not go unnoticed by Alex's family and friends. Those around them commented on the noticeable shift in Alex's demeanor—their laughter was more genuine, their conversations more engaging, and their overall outlook more optimistic. This change inspired others in their circle to seek out their own passions and connections, creating a ripple effect of positivity and growth. The community that Alex had built through both the game and real life became a source of mutual support, where everyone encouraged one another to pursue their dreams and foster deeper relationships.
Ultimately, "My Furry Neighbour" became more than just a game; it served as a catalyst for profound personal growth and transformation. Through the bonds forged in this virtual world, Alex discovered the courage to reach out, connect, and invest in both themselves and those around them. Their journey illustrates how the power of play can transcend the digital realm, leading to tangible changes that foster joy, creativity, and a sense of community. Alex's life was forever enriched by the lessons learned and the connections made, reminding them that sometimes the most unexpected sources of inspiration can lead to the most significant transformations.
In reflection, Alex often thought back to the game that started it all. They realized that it had not only provided a temporary escape from reality but had also opened doors to new friendships, creative endeavors, and a deeper understanding of the importance of community. The experience was a powerful reminder that the virtual connections we forge can have a lasting impact on our real lives, shaping our perspectives, encouraging growth, and ultimately helping us find joy in the simplest of interactions. The legacy of "My Furry Neighbour" lived on, not just in Alex's heart but also in the vibrant community they continued to nurture in the real world, illustrating the profound influence of connection and creativity on the human spirit.

Good improvement over some of the other ones. Very cozy. Grammar is still pretty fuzzy, but forgivable. Keep improving.
Although, might be a good idea in the future to consider revisiting this game and some of the older ones to rewrite and fix more of the spelling errors, grammatical mistakes, translation issues, etc.
With that said, I am afraid that I still have to agree with a majority of the sentiments here about how little these games offer relative to other VNs on the market. It is not that these are "bad" in of themselves, but they are just woefully unable to compete with vastly better lengthier VNs.
I wish steam could offer a "neutral" recommendation option. I will pick "yes" as a way of supporting the creator. But to be frank, my feeling is much more neutral on these games.

I started this game as a joke but the more I got to play it, the more intriguing it got. I was fast-forwarding to all the good stuff but I didn't realize that the adult patch was not downloaded. I played it again with the adult patch and I did not regret it a single bit. 10/10 would play again and 10/10 would recommend to others.

More of a neutral review.
You make two choices the entire game that neither seem to impact the story much overall about an hour of clicking for a mediocre story and a couple smutty stills. It has trading cards though so that's nice.
Don't forget to download the 18+ pack.

Thank you Steam for providing me a gift code for this game. Was a good laugh screen-sharing it with my friends. Only problem is now this is permanently on my Steam record... This is some gooner stuff man

This is the first entry in Dirty Fox Games' "My Furry" series of kinetic novels, and...I have mixed opinions about it.
The story's short, with my own time so far being roughly 80 minutes, which is what the pitch on the store page states is about right. However, this game currently includes Steam Trading Cards and those don't tend to start dropping until past the two-hour mark to ensure that the game isn't just refunded once they're obtained, so I'll either need to keep this idling in the background or run through the whole thing another time or two to obtain them.
Another thing the store page mentions is "Multiple Choice Options", which is a bit of a falsehood; this is a Kinetic Novel with only two choices to make, the first of which has literally no effect on the story, and the second of which does offer a minor divergence and slightly different images before the routes reconnect a minute later and it's the same narrative for the remaining hour or so.
Speaking of images, another selling point is "HD, fully original artwork". With the uncensored DLC, there's roughly four distinct "intimate" scenes with full images for the in-game gallery. However the images in each scene are mostly variants on each other: Roxy in her underwear, Roxy in the same pose without clothes, Roxy without clothes and now blushing, so on and so forth. Roxy is also the only girl in the game (and the only character with a portrait at all, with only three "outfits": black top and skirt, black underwear, and nude), so if you're not fond of her design, you're probably not going to enjoy looking at her from different angles.
Honestly, if that was all, I'd consider this just a "unmemorable-but-decent" story. However, what's giving me mixed feelings is the "hidden traumas" also advertised, because...well, it's a huge tonal clash. The entire story takes place over three in-setting days, and it's on day two that Roxy, the titular Furry Neighbour, feels like she trusts you enough to admit both how her absent father never even wanted her to be born and she had a mental breakdown and stabbed her last boyfriend for cheating on her. "Love at first sight" be darned, that is some DARK backstory to drop on someone you've known for a day, and it completely conflicts with the rest of the story, which can be summarised as "manic pixie dream girl enters the life of a guy stuck in a routine, guy encourages girl not to give up on what she truly desires when she has doubts, both are better as a result". Ah, and before I forget, there's also the occasional typo in this story too; a few actions that are presented as someone speaking them, one "realizee" with one too many e's, but nothing too confusing.
So, in conclusion, I definitely would not buy this game at full price, even if you're the type to refund games if you can clear them within the two-hour refund window. What tips the line into being Recommended is the simple fact that it's frequently on sale for less than a dollar CDN. Everybody needs good neighbours, but I'll compromise if the rent is cheap.
