Edit
Mortal Blitz applies Gun Shooting games from arcade game centers into VR platform, and lets you experience the whole new 1st person VR action shooter experience. In this game, the player becomes ‘Yuhei’ ex- F.O.R.C.E. (governmental elite soldiers), and toils and fights in the mission to thwart the evil plans of the Dominion’s Teratoma Destruction Plan. Mortal Blitz aims to provide fun and various experiences as a gun-shooting game by implementing these systems.

Very fun game that has some of the better graphics I have seen in VR. The art style and sci fi theme are the real strong points here. The gameplay is that of a wave shooter that mimics an arcade style light gun game but in 360. There are mini guns and grenade launchers and shotguns available but you have to find them during the level and they run out of ammo quickly so you mostly use dual pistols for the whole game. I had a blast playing it. There are some unlocks you can get and over thirty achievements, so there is some reason to replay it. The gun upgrades are pretty much cosmetic from what I can tell. The game feels very polished for a VR title up until you finish ~stage 6 and the story comes to a hault. The game states that there are plans to add more content soon. That being said, you can play the training missions and shoot balls or repeat the story levels on harder difficulty. I beat it on novice and played 25 levels of training in about an hour and a half. So that should give you an idea of what you get for your money as of 8/4/17. I really did enjoy this game and can't wait to see more content for it. If you could only get one game today and wanted a wave/cover shooter then I would reccomend overkill VR at this time as it is more polished. If you already own that and want more games like it or want something more like Ghost in the Shell (the anime, not the poorly written movie) then this is a fun game to play through. It really does feel like being a part of a sci fi universe. And the voice acting and graphics are pretty good. I give it 2 thumbs up if they add more levels and content.

Very similar to dead effect 2 with limited options, movement, enemies and weapons. Still quite a good game VR wise and better than 70% of VR titles on steam, just if you already have dead effect 2 or are tossing up between the two dead effect 2 is better value and better gameplay, movement, story etc.
Still a recommended though as it's great for those who like more arcadey type games and it is a very polished game for VR.
Basically an arcade version of dead effect 2.

disappointing at first that you can't move around.
But it's basically a cover shooter where with progression through each level.
Graphics are great.
Enemies look great. Lots of weapons and stuff to pick up off the floor.
When you do the Telekenisis kill it ranks your kill and I think you use the points to upgrade your weapons.
Intense action. I ran into my wall once.
It's a keeper.
Update: The game is pretty short. Can be finished in less than an hour...but like any good arcade game it's meant to be mastered..and it gets pretty hard.
Pro Tip: see how far you can get in the wave shooter training mode. it actually gets pretty interesting.

I enjoyed this fun and polished node based cover shooter. It looks good, has cool fun set pieces, neat sci-fi weapons and gravity gun style powers. The only catch is the length of the game, I finished the campaign in just over an hour.
It's well made and likeable. Probably a great fit for a VR arcade. There's no locomotion system beyond teleporting between cover stations, but that didn't bother me in this case, it flows nicely like Overkill VR.
I recommend it even though it it short, but there might not be enough content for many. I might replay it again sometime. In any case I look forward to more from the develepors.

I have to admit I was mixed about which way my review would go here.
It's similar to other wave shooters which admittedly isn't my favourite genre but I did get into this. You have two pistols with infinite ammo, you can pick up weapons and grenades with a tether and also grab groggy enemies for bonus health and ammo.
I found grenades a pain to throw and the weapons you can pick up felt less useful than the pistols to be honest so stopped bothering with them.
The graphics are decent (HTC Vive on GTX 1080) and the sound is functional but not remarkable.
The game is a lot of fun and in the second half actually gave my lazy bones some exercise as it moved from merely hiding behind cover to having to physically dodge away from projectiles, I was sweating somewhat once I'd finished.
That's where the issue lies, I completed the game in less than an hour.
I know it's an arcade style game and is meant to be replayed to get better scores and complete at more difficult levels but it is still very little content for £14.99
I'm going to give this a positive begrudgingly as I do think you should wait for a sale, I got it for around half price and I don't feel ripped off, but if I'd paid full for it I would probably be feeling less positive.
Once you complete the game it hints at a 2nd Episode and more content but considering t.he time lapsed since the game was released I'm pretty doubtful that will come

Amazing Game. One that I will use to show people how great VR can be. Feels like an exspensive Arcade Game. This is the first review I have ever done. So, this should mean something!

This game is amazingly fun.
It's so awesome to stand behind the wall when there shooting and ducking under the boxes. I feel like I'm really there in some action movie.
