Mordheim: City of the Damned is the first video game adaptation of Games Workshop's cult classic tabletop game Mordheim. Set in the Warhammer World's decimated Empire city, Mordheim: City of the Damned is a turn-based tactical game where you lead warbands into bloody and lethal skirmishes. The game blends RPG elements, fast-paced tactical combat and intricate unit customization in a time wrought by chaos and rivalry where only the strongest survive. After a twin tailed comet crashed on Mordheim, the City of Damned turned into a terrifying battlefield where rival warbands fight fiercely for the control of key neighborhoods, looking for glory and fortune by acquiring the very valuable Wyrdstone fragments.

le jeux est certe compliquer mais il a un plus que les autre jeux n'on pas c'est simplement l'évolution des personnages salon leur combat mais aussi avec leur blessures ou compétances se qui change tout , on auras casiment jamais la meme bande avec tout cela perso j'adore

Hi,
Just discovered this game in 2025, was looking for this squad turn based in real view mode, and was deciding between Mordheim and Necromunda.
Chose this one for the feel of the warbands, even if Necromunda seems better looking.
Just started playing, only 16 hours, leveled one each of the 4 base warbands to level 2 for now, so the members are only level 1 mostly with a few level 2.
It isnt an easy game, need to be very careful, I strongly advise to do the four combat tutorials to start to learn about mechanics.
Our units at start get taken out of action real quick, and getting injuries on team can be disastrous, got a marksman who lost one arm at first injury....Restarted a new warband.
Moving around the maps with climb or jump interactions isnt easy either, you lose health/action quite a few times trying to get across.
Ideally need to gang up on one enemy after another.
You can be ambushed around a corner or shot at from a window, so need to scout ahead slowly and find them before they jump on you.
Be prepared to accept that % chances shown can be in your favour or not...if you dont like RNG, can become hard to like this game as injuries can be crippling.
You cannot save when you want, it is autosave, so consequences are very important.
Dont forget to pick up the wyrdstones as much as possible, from ground or enemy's loot as you need a certain amount to deliver to your boss.

j'ai attendu très longtemps entre le moment où j'ai acheté le jeu et le moment où j'ai commencé à jouer.
J'adore l'univers, mais les images du jeu sur steam ne me donnais pas envi.
J'ai lancé le jeu. il faut 30 pour faire le tuto et être confortable avec l'ui.
Le jeu est juste géniale. Je sens que je vais passer beaucoup de temps dessus.
