MoonFire: A Seeker’s Saga is a crafted blend of a Visual Novel and an RPG with Open-World mechanics. Set within a boundless fantasy world, you will experience dozens of characters and eccentric lore. Manage a system of six main traits that aid your exploration inspired by the likes of DnD with RNG rolls, character buffs, party stats, and much more.
Discover the stories Tavnorr holds as you embark on a journey across Malenthia.
Uphold your honor or live by your own rules. Manage your stats and choose your dialogue with others. Watch as it shapes your personality and the reactions from those around you.
Careful though, as some decisions may not only hold your fate in peril, but the fate of others as well.
- Build a roster of delightful companions
- Level your character to master in diplomacy, hone your thievery or withstand combat
- Collect items to hoard, sell, or aid in your exploration
- Choose to become a SunSage or LunarKnight, both permitting great power
- Freely explore a fantasy world on the brim of darkness and deceit
- Assist the Seeker in her journey of discovering the truth
– Additional adventures through side quests
– Campsites to explore and rest
– Opportunities to bond with your favorite companions
You are awake now.
I know you can’t speak. You will, soon.
The Seeker has saved you for this quest.
You are in Malenthia, a land once whole and strong. The Second Era ended with the death of Queen Kulviete, many years ago. She and her family succumbed, and now the lands of Malenthia begin to crumble under the encroachment of fiends, beings of unknown origin that devour all in their path. Rumors and unrest grow into endless dispute under the spiteful gaze of one called Damaskia.
I know you have no memory of this. It must be this way. As the only human amid Creature-Kind, you must learn as you travel across Malenthia. Yours is the power of gods and demons alike, to use reason to put to rest the all-consuming chaos. Within this puzzle of scattered pieces, everything can be connected, if you can bring your mind and heart to bear.
You have questions. I am sure… But will you find what you seek?

I haven't play a ton of the game but what i have played, it felt super fun i very much enjoyed the art work and music. it mixed cozy and fantasy games very well. i have a very special place in my heart for all thing DnD related and i can tell i'm going to enjoy this game very much on those day i'm looking to just relax and dive deep in to a fantastically written story. 10/10 would recommend, i plan on sharing this with all of my friends in hopes they will enjoy it as much as i already do!!

Absolutely recommended, I'm only about halfway through but already very invested in the story. The characters are interesting, Cameyo is absolutely my favourite. You want to protect them in combat and help them at other times.
The dice rolls add a nice measure of randomness to the game and it does feel more like a TTRPG than a lot of computer games. The choices and randomness of the dice rolls will make replays well worthwhile.
The art is impressive, some of the backgrounds are amazing and the character sprites are appealing and well drawn.
Over all, a really good package and worth anyone's time.

So much I could say, but i need to keep this brief:
The story, the most important part, is filled with more than enough details, twists, and surprises to keep you going, some obvious, some not.
Characters, each one including guests is well fleshed out relative to the amount of screen time they have making each one unique and exciting!
Visuals are quite tops from the characters to most of the scenery. The game may lack CGs aside from one, but the textual details paired with the sprites make it easy enough to envision. They also do shift their bodies a little between expressions adding a nice touch.
Music and sound effects were nicely chosen and timed perfectly.
The only downsides were the d20 system, but that is inherent to the system itself, and the bonding system which did not feel as consistent as we are made to feel it would be, as well as some bonds are far more important than others.
For a first VN game, this is well above even my expectations.
