PRICE
I think the game is kinda over priced $40 a little much (the deluxe edition just gives u like a few extra skins)
MAIN CAMPAIGN
the main campaign is ok its not to bad I would recommend playing it as it teaches the mechanics and what different things do
VERSUS
the versus mode can be very painful (no chat, all resources shared, team leavers common-ish, game will put you in an in-progress game if someone leaves it as well as that people on your team can deconstruct you buildings easily and there is no ranked mode or barrier of entry to versus so some people just don't know what there doing.)
if u want to play versus I would suggest playing with other people your in a voice call with (the Minecraft legends discord server has a looking for group section if u need it although I dont know how well it works)
also it is only 4v4 (in public games) and there is no party system so if u want to play with a friend you have to host a game as that's the only way to make sure your on the same team
LOST LEGENDS
the lost legends (monthly challenges) I think are very fun
FRIENDS
minecraft legends lets your friends join your campaign and your lost legends (although you can make a world private as-well)
MECHANICS
some of the mechanics can be confusing/you might not realize you can use some of them here is a list of somethings that might be easy to forget
1.
in the ctrl menu (hold ctrl) left click will make mobs target a mob/building but will attack other things to while right click will make them only target the mod/building and nothing else, also you have to hold right click/left click to send all your mobs and only tap to send one
2.
if you press r it brings up a notebook which you use for rearranging the different hot bar layouts but you can look on the right side of the book and click the feather quill icon to look at what all the things mobs/other things do
3.
on the map (press m) if a piglin base or a village has a sign or a flag over it it means that location will do something at nightfall
WOULD I RECOMMEND?
I would recommend this game to you if you think that the price isn't to bad and if you plan on also playing this game with friends

It is a pretty good game. I'm not sure its worth the price, I would put it more around $20. Really liked the story and the challenges. I really hope they keep updating it. The one thing I think they did wrong is, they did not commit to and Action Strategy game. I feel like they tried to mix an action strategy game with minecraft and it ended up in the middle and not reaching its potential. I want them to add troop formations to the game. Even if it were simple things like: the mobs circle you with ranged in the middle and melee in front, a wedge formation with the ranged units following in a block, or just a classic military block. I also think that the "command" menu needs some more work. I think it is a great game but they need to embrace the Action Strategy genre.

I honestly enjoyed this game. I understand the frustration about not receiving future updates, but the game feels complete as is. It reminds me of older RTS games - a campaign that you spend 10-15 hours on with the replayability coming in the form of VS mode.
Would I play full price for this? Probably not. But it's worth throwing on your wishlist and trying out when it's on sale.

Maybe not everyone's favorite, but certainly was fun for me. However, due to recent updates it seems, I've taken notice of the warriors not spawning at villages when I've unlocked them. In addition, piglins don't spawn when an invasion occurs against a village or homestead, causing nothing but the first and final waves of piglins to attack.
