The game has been abandoned, but the devs left it in the best possible state. There are seasoned rewards with the ability to switch between the seasons freely and progress them individually, which means none of the achievements are locked and everything released in the game is obtainable. Many game devs should follow suit with this

I don't understand why Mojang cut support for this game in favor of Legends when this game was and still probably is the best Minecraft spinoff of all time. This game takes the Minecraft brand, and turns it into a new game of its own. It doesn't feel completely different and alien like Legends, but it also doesn't feel too much like its parent game. I used to love this game but ever since they stopped updating it, I've felt myself grow distant to this game due to burnout and repetition. And it's a shame, this game oozed charm and held its own, even to this day. What I feel this game needs is an free expansion of content, either through a new area or adding onto the normal story mode. This game has a strong player base that loves this game, especially compared to Story Mode and Legends, both of which are basically dead games at this point. Please Mojang, drop update :(

Minecraft Dungeons is a game to fall in love with.
It's fast, fun, and full of charm. The combat is simple but super satisfying, and there’s always something new to find – whether it's epic loot, cool new mobs, or clever level design.

Perfect for quick sessions or hours of dungeon crawling. Great solo, even better with friends. Basically: Minecraft meets Diablo – in the best way.

9/10 – A surprise hit. Easy to love, hard to put down.

The perfect "listen-to-a-YouTube-video-and-start-killing-monsters" game. It's a fun time, but the price is pretty steep for the base game. I'd recommend waiting for the ultimate edition (with all the DLC) to go on sale; it happens occasionally every few months.

(Played to completion on Switch, hence low playtime.)
