Even though the game can be beaten in 30 minutes this game is still an absolute banger, still some of the best pixel art in gaming history and only gets better with each new entry.

So, I had a lot of fun with Metal Slug... The first one is amazing
Like, it starts with Marco, even without a character selection screen.
He shoots the soldiers and frees the prisoners.
You can beat it in less than 30 minutes if you're good at this game without getting shot, without having to continue and most importantly: PERFECT NO DAMAGE!!!
The story is quite comical but it's fun!
I recommend it for those who play alone or in co-op like in those golden days of arcades in the 1990s and 2000s!

Run, gun, explode, repeat! Simple, brutal, and ridiculously fun. The pixel art is gorgeous, the sound is iconic, and the gameplay is pure, unadulterated awesome. A perfect blast from the past.
