METAL GEAR SURVIVE is a spin off from the main METAL GEAR SOLID V story that takes place in a strange alternative universe. Create your own character and learn to survive. Scavenge resources, craft weapons, build a base camp and explore the unknown while developing the survival skills necessary in this hostile environment. In CO-OP mode, assemble a team of four players to infiltrate and defend areas from hordes of creatures. Place fortifications and defensive weapons strategically to give you an advantage against ever intensifying enemies. Team work and resourcefulness are key in these fast paced co-op missions.

Für mich Persönlich das beste Survival Game ever, schade das die meisten dem Spiel wohl keine chance gelassen haben, Die möglichkeiten in dem Spiel sind so geiel und das Koop Gameplay war der Hammer, leider zu wenig Spieler das die Sitzungs-suche ewig gedauert hat. Eine Fortsetzung wäre geil.

It is not worthy of holding the title of "Metal Gear" that is for sure, don't go into it expecting anything other than a medioker spin off like acid, with a loosely connected story to the main franchise that is a bit "outlandish" .
But if you go into it, for a survival, mele focused (ranged is an option but ammo is hard to craft) tower defence game with some base building and crew management ... then it is actually a ...good game... after all.
It definetly was not a good game for its time, but compared to nowadays slopp ? it holds up pretty well to that and even outshines it.
(but a good hint, take your time and prepare defences and passive recources, DON'T go into the second mother base dig unless you are absolutely setteled, stocked up and ready for it, its aftermath might throw you off if you ain't ready for it (i gave the game a second chance and am in my second playthrough of the story right now and oh god i did everything wrong rushing and not exploring enough in my first playthrough, if you give it time, it becomes easily manageable)
I can't believe i'd be saying this as a metal gear fan, but, i'd recomend, especially if you liked peace walkers ai pods.

Metal Gear Survive beginnt recht zäh und erfordert Geduld, da die Einführung in die Spielmechaniken und die Ressourcenverwaltung etwas zeitaufwendig ist. Doch mit der Zeit entwickelt sich ein motivierender Gameplay Loop, der die Spieler durch Herausforderungen und kooperative Elemente fesselt. Auch ohne Hideo Kojima als Schöpfer bietet das Spiel ein solides Erlebnis, das Fans von Überlebens- und Action-Gameplay anspricht.

Tolle Erweiterung für alle die von der Fox Engine nicht genug bekommen können. Tolles Gameplay, mittelmäßige Story, doch dafür gibt es ja bald Delta was beides vereint.
