Memories From Beyond a Coral Sea

I got this game when it was free but in meantime there was added full locomotion and save states so finally I can play from where I stopped. Graphics are beautifull: high res textures, reflections, real time shadows - all here and optimisation is great. This is the game in which when you need go to sleep you have to lay down, when you want to drink coconut milk you need to break bottle and use shard as knife etc. There are details like putting sea shells to ear to listen them. We need more games like this which use VR to its potential!

Truly incredible storytelling and VR immersion on a beautiful island. The sub plot is delightful, the water exploration is so beautiful, and the puzzles engaging. I really enjoyed this game, it made me feel alive and full of wonder.

What a fantastic experience. This was so much better than many VR games. I was absolutely invested in the world of this game. The visuals are also some of the best that I've seen, and this is THE best water I have ever seen in VR. Well done. This is outside of my normal gaming preferences, but I'd gladly sink hours into a longer version of something like this.

At some point in time, this game was made free, which is how I got it. And for a while I neglected it as I had other, more advertised games to sink my teeth into first. But late at night, after a stroke of inspiration and drive, I found myself wanting a new VR experience. Something I felt like I had yet to find in titles like The Walking Dead: Saints And Sinners and Boneworks. I soon realized with my frugal existence, this was unattainable. No disposable income on hand, and nothing in my library that would be the experience I searched for, I was bothered. So I went for something new. Something that I instead wasn't looking for. And I remembered: Memories From Beyond a Coral Sea.
Everything, thematically and mechanically, start to finish, was nothing short of incredible. From the beauty of the night sky, to the hopeful feelings that the bright, bright blue water gave me, I was hooked. Not once did I pause, nor take a break, this was an experience that I didn't want to let go of. The many times I felt like the smartest man alive when I made the smallest of steps and the many times I just stood or sat in place, this was an experience that I didn't want to end. And very often I just had to ask: What happened? What happened in my past? What happened to me? To my family? My friends? Is this real? Am I truly hearing voices in seashells? Am I truly attempting to fight crabs that come up to my waist in height?
I previously mentioned that it was made free, and it was, but keeping that idea in my head I went to the store page expecting some greedy or overzealous price tag. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that it sits at a modest $6 USD. Although I started my playthrough at around 2 Am, finished around 4, (and stay writing this at 4:30) I say truthfully that I didn't even fully experience the game I received. But I can personally assure you that even if I never will, I will absolutely try.
Daniel, John, Jonas, and everyone else that ever has and ever will associate with Snigelsoft, don't stop making this game. And furthermore, don't stop making games after this one in finalized. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Memories From Beyond a Coral Sea. And I will be back. Thank you for reading, and hopefully, thank you for playing.

An enjoyable experience that allows you to explore at your own pace. The paddling was totally worth it.
