A super fun blend of Diablo/Gauntlet and Touhou that's full of charm and cute anime girls. The developer is very passionate and it really shows, this is a labor of love. There's SOVL in it if you catch my drift. It's peak. And honestly quite original.
I'm still pretty early on but I am having a blast. The combat mechanics are tight and the bossfights are quite challenging, requiring precise movement and split-second timing.
The story is funny and engaging, and the characters are all very likable (especially Fiera, please marry me).
Highly recommended to anyone who likes the hack-and-slash and bullet hell genres.

There's a lot of asterisks I want to add to my recommendation for now. For the time being, don't expect a game with longevity or proper balance. Expeditions (the mode where you farm for gear) tend to get really stupid later on, as enemies get random bonuses every stage and every time the timer ticks up. Some of them can be rather benign, while others can completely break your run. Eventually you'll get to the point where dodging is basically impossible and your best bet is to just circle strafe the blob of enemies (if the room allows for it) and hoping that you can DPS them down before they kill you.
Is it fun? Yeah, sure.
Do I feel like I got my money's worth? No, not really. Maybe on an intellectual level, seeing a game like this that so openly combines bullet hell and ARPG combat for the first time. It sure left an impression that makes me wonder why other developers haven't tried this type of game yet, but I'm unfortunately rather certain that Marmoreal really isn't the best it could be.

Been following this game since the actual beginning of it and it has just been improving with each updated version of it.
The character designs are really good, they also have different personalities and interactions with one another which makes the game even more enjoyable. Just seeing the interactions causes you to want to replay that specific part of the story just to see the cutscene again.
Each of the six characters also has it's own skill tree that you get a point to spend after every level up. You got different types of weapons for them as well that will change the way your abilities and attacks works. Neat design part of the game and I really love it!
There is story missions in the game for both of the factions, Arcanum and Melkirion. Which the cutscenes for them are quite funny and adorable as well. Then there is also expeditions that are fun to play and quite nice if you want to get some better gear.
So I highly recommend that you get this game, it's really cheap got cute character designs with unique bosses. The music and gameplay for the boss Penelope feels so much like Touhou and I love it so much! Also the design on that boss is really cute and adorable.
(I will be adding more to this review)

I'm not far in, but having a lot of fun so far. The game is incredibly cute and you can tell the dev poured their heart into it. The biggest surprise for me was cutscenes, there's genuinely funny choreography and I love the Megaman Legends-like facial expressions. The character-swapping mechanic is fun and unlike other ARPGs I've played.

I can only assume the name Marmoreal is meant to be a reference to mammary with the amount of boob physics in this game, with one of the character's body to breast ratio being almost less than 1. In fact I'm fairly certain Fiera uses the center of gravity of hers to enhance her dodging skills.
The cut scenes so far seem to have the characters treating them as competitions to show who is silliest, except chad Frank who's (at least the shell of) a man on a mission and will no doubt snap and tell the wenches around him to behave themselves in the near future.
The game is rough around the edges and also on portions of the surface, but it has an endearing charm that reminds me of earlier Touhou games.

Got this game in an Itch.io bundle, but like it so much I bought it here on steam too! It's such a cute and adorable bullet hell.
