MAIZE
Maize is a first-person adventure game about what happens when two scientists misinterpret a memo from the U.S. Government and create sentient corn. And that last sentence is pretty much the least ridiculous thing about the game. Explore an abandoned farm and a not-so-abandoned underground research facility as you uncover the mysteries around Maize, and possibly learn a bit about yourself along the way. Or maybe not. Immerse yourself and explore Maize’s fully-realized environment, featuring a cornucopia of areas to explore (see what we did there?). Solve environmental puzzles that get more and more absurd the further you delve into the adventure. Uncover the secrets of Maize’s world, as you try and figure out what it is the corn really want, aside from a very good nap. Meet some friends and enemies along the way, which include a very small grumpy Russian robot bear and an unhinged corn stalk who’s a bit of a jerk.

This game is weird... and I mean weird. You can tell the developers pours their heart and soul into this. This is a must play for anyone who wants to experience something new, fresh and amaizeing. I beat it years ago but felt i was doing humanity a disservice by not recommending it. I can now die in peace...

What is this stupid thing? This place is one big joke. Well, Vladdy is not laughing.
The trailer sold me the game at first glance, but after playing, I have mixed feelings about it.
The setting is unique and the characters delightful, I particularly appreciated the actors' performance, cutscene animations, and references. It’s also unusual for me to find the notes engaging, but they succeeded in doing so.
Unfortunately, gameplay wise it is really dull and at times confusing. And I get it, this is the first narrative-based game from the studio, low budget and it even fits the story, but still I wish they did better. If you decide to play, don't hesitate to google if you stuck, these "puzzles" don't worth your time.
In short, while I might not suggest playing it yourself, I definitely think it’s worth purchasing to support the talent behind it. To save your time, you can enjoy the walkthrough movie on YouTube. I wish the developers all the best with Robots at Midnight, looking forward to playing it.

- Fun story with loveable characters
- Nice visuals
- Absolutely amazing OST
- And a nostalgic feel I can't really describe well
This game is one of my all-time favourites. Sometimes, the simplest ideas can make the most fun experiences. If you don't like dry humour, you'll most likely find the dialogue repetitive. But otherwise, I can only recommend. 10/10, probably the best "corn game" you will ever play

It's super interesting but you might get stuck walking around for hours, looking for the one tiny thing you missed. I'm upvoting it because it's unique and I love it, but I was kind of disappointed.

Honestly, it's a good laugh and very simple.
Great for something to relax with and not have too much to think about.
Would definitely recommend.

It is a first person walking simulator adventure game. You run long distances between places to click highlighted objects and do light puzzles. It is also a comedy game, and as such, as always, it's never funny in the slightest. The most prominent thing about the game is the corn with a face on its storepage. But the in-game corn looks much worse and is just stupid.
Being so easy and short it doesn't overstay its welcome and you are rarely stuck with no idea what moon logic to do next. Corn is constantly cuts you off from backtracking, and the game tells you where to go in plain text.
The bear has a terrible fake accent and i have no idea what it says in any of the languages. You can't rebind the keys. There's no jumping, and is used for collectibles instead. Crouching is on .
It's a waste of time. So if you need some of your time wasted — might as well. Such things need something like a Quake 3 engine, so people would diagonally rhythm jump through them, and you could watch some cool speedruns.
