In Magnesia, the character you play can use his hands to make a magnet positive or negative. He can do this by shooting his hands towards the magnet he wants to change. This way the magnet can attract or repel certain objects. This mechanism has to be used in a particular way so that the player can advance in the game.

This game is the result of 13 weeks of development at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. A team of only 15 students with no experience in programming games are responsible for this game. The project has started on October 29 2018 and will end on January 28 2019.

Une démo vraiment suprenante, les graphismes ne m'avaient pas attirer, mais le level design est vraiment bon! Avec une amélioration des graphismes, je pense que cela peut devenir un très bon jeu. A surveiller!

Un très bon jeu au graphisme moyen mais au gameplay excellent ! L'innovation sur la façon de jouer dont faire preuve Magnesia est forte ! Les énigmes proposées jouent sur les mécaniques présentées tout au long des 4 chapitres. La manière de jouer rappelle Portal dans sa façon d'être. Petite mention à notre personnage que j'ai pu voir grâce aux phases qu'il se tapait après des animations et à mon énigme préférée au chapitre 4 dans la salle où les murs sont magnétiques, excellente ! /
A good game with medium graphics but improved gameplay ! The innovation on the style and the way of playing the game is awesome ! The purposed puzzles plays with the presented games mechanics. The way of playing was (for me) similar as Portal. A little mention to our character that I could saw thanks to the animations ;D and my favourite puzzle is, on chapter 4, the room with magnetics walls, that was awesome ! Greatfull and original. :)
