„Lost Circus VR – The Prologue” is an introduction for the newly created game made in VR technology. The incredible care for details of the environement will let You truly immerse in dark climate of an abandoned circus. The dedicated music and amazing 5.1 sound will build up the mood and give You a „goose bumps”. The highest quality of 4K textures also greatly improves the impressions of reality, even in state of the art high resolution googles.
„Lost Circus VR” comes from the Virtual Magic entertainment workshop, an experienced company known for producing many 3D and 5d virtual shows and movies created for amusement parks. Our roots are in the movies industry, that is the reason we want to maintain our own more cinematic approach towards VR games.

Anybody who follows my reviews, knows that I am a big VR roller coaster fan. I own like 99% of them. So I was happy to get a free Steam key to review this game. This is a VR coaster experience that is about 7 minutes long with some interactive mini-game type interactions. It's a very slow roller coaster so it relies on the cinematic on-rails experience. It's a little on the spooky side, but nothing too scary happens.
It's running on the Unity Engine. The visuals are mostly really good, but there are some uneven spots. Some scenes are definitely better than others. I enjoyed this ride, but it's not for everyone. I know some people expect a thrilling ride, but this isn't that type of ride.
The experience includes three mini-games. You're shooting at targets, you're playing whack-a-mole with spiders, and you're having a tiger jump through a flaming hoop. The tiger one looks good, but I couldn't figure out how to do it correctly. Anyways, I enjoyed the experience and I think the price matches the content FOR A VR COASTER experience (comparing this to other singular VR coaster prices and how long they are).
Rate 7/10. Good and better than most VR coasters, but not exactly in the top tier of VR coaster experiences.

This is a nice little intro to an on-rails experience built around cinematic and creepy atmosphere. The developers are coming from a background in making 5D thrill rides for parks and arcades so they've packed this prologue full of awesome animations and other eye candy. There's nothing astounding about the gameplay itself, but that's not what you should be buying this for anyway. It's light on content currently but definitely worth picking up if you're nostalgic for 5D Park rides like Transformers at Universal or Corkscrew Hill at Busch Gardens.
My biggest complaint is that the sound design can feel really weak or out of place at times. They should also hide one of the lanterns. There's no reason to be holding two at a time but for the guns it makes sense. The mini-games or mini-interactions are pretty underwhelming and even though they're not really what I bought this for, I still feel a bit more thought should be put into them. It's fine to keep it simple but make it more immersive. The spider whacking specifically has no sense of feedback or satisfaction to it. It's just swinging an inconsequential hologram that instant kills anything it touches.
I also feel Its worth pointing out unlike other developers, their price of entry actually reflects what the average gamer might consider too be worth it to them. That being said I completely understand the need for higher prices in a smaller market like VR and would have supported this at a higher price if it actually gets turned into a complete experience at some point. Really hope I get to see lots of great things from these devs!

Great visuals, in a very creepy environment.
You are in a run down circus, get on the "ride" and it starts moving, and things... happen, from time to time the things you are holding change and youi can do some mini games, but really its all about the events that happen.
Basically an 8min cinematic with small interactions, totally worth the ticket price!
Recommended for anyone wanting a great looking and fun and a bit creepy experience that lasts ~8 minutes.

Watch my video here:
Played on the Rift S.
Graphically this is very good. I like the lighting and the animations.
Audio is creepy and on par with good VR games. Lacks 3D audio but it isn't need for this kind of game.
Gameplay is on rails and very disappointingly short. It is very good minus those. The atmosphere is really amazing and draws to into the world very well indeed. The scaling which makes VR unusual is used very well in this game and will have you breaking your neck in amazement. The game has shooting moments and hammer smashing good other moments. Warning Spiders. How short is this prologue, well it's 7 minutes long ish.
Overall I enjoyed what I played and it gave me a Rush of Blood feel without the roller coaster ride. Issue here is is it worth the £4 to $5 for 7 minutes. Well that is up to you.

Its short but its really very good, one of the best VR 'experiences' but you need a high end graphics card RTX 3070 /2080ti +. The visuals push the card to its limits but it looks really nice, like Alyx nice.

I picked this up for a couple of dollars. For that price you cannot beat it. Played on the Rift S.
This is a simple "on rails experience" ride with 3 small mini games built in. You sit in a barrel on a trolley as a man in a clown mask pushes you through a dilapidated circus. The whole experience is very short (maybe 5-7 minutes max?) but takes an interesting turn from awe and amazement to a horror-terror feel.
Visually it is gorgeous although on my end I caught a lot of visual stuttering while being moved. As of this writing I am unsure if the issues were on my end or the game's.
This is apparently a DEMO however I am not coming up with any newer information on if the full game is still in development or is dead. I certainly hope it isn't the latter.
For the price it will certainly be a great little game to put on for when we have company over and someone wants to try the VR headset.

This is an experience and not really a game. It is well worth the money. I played this once, and will probably do it again, just to admire the artwork. This is a good one to have friends or family to play and watch their reactions. Don't read too many reviews as it may ruin the experience.
