Livelock
pros:
//fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on
//good amount of action and special effects
cons:
//a lot of difficult battles/objectives
//some overpowered enemies
//some enemies have unfair attacks
//could use more health drops, powerups, and upgrade parts
//sometimes too many enemies constantly spawn
//upgrades require a lot of resources
//collecting resources are a grindfest
//somewhat repetitive
//some lack of directions/instructions
//could use more permanent upgrades
//good game

I want to like it... I want to like it. The game has some solid production value with nice shiny graphics, lots of unlockables, loadouts a la Call of Duty, voice-acted characters with their own personalities, tons of bullets all over, etc. etc.
Basically, this game has a lot going for it. A LOT.
I just don't like it. I tried this in the hope that it would be a nice twin-stick shooter, and it is. The core gameplay is just too similar to virtually all twin-stick shooters: Shoot. Dodge. Run. Shoot some more. I personally found that the addition of a story, the surprisingly good graphics for the genre, and all of its production value simply doesn't do quite enough to get me past the same gameplay that I'm personally very tired of. I'll recommend the game simply for the good parts of it, because my own bias doesn't deny that the game itself is good. If you love a good twin sticker, you'll probably enjoy the heck out of this. I'm happy to look for something else and let other people enjoy it.

not my usual type of game but really fun. story is kind of cheesey but it feels like a game ,like something you want to close and come back to the next day and not like a chore (my subjective take on other top down games)

A nice short top down action shooter about robots and with robots.
The story can be meh or good, depending on what games you previously played. This is because of its theme and somewhat plot twists.
The pacing is good. You get breathers and you get intense action. Good ballance.
The characters are fun and unique in their skills and kit. I loved the soldier.
Graphic is nice, bgm and music are meh.
Some bad things, stuff that I didnt like:
- game is too easy even on hard
- no real setback when you die. No incentive to play it safe or use a strategy.
- some bosses are bullet sponges
Dont know how co-op is, but single player is fun. Give it a try if you want to feel like a bootleg Transformer.

A short but really delightful experience, some of the most fun i had with a twinstick shooter. The combat is always exciting, the abilities of each class are all well implemented. You are really getting stronger as you level up in this game which gives a nice sense of progression. Even playing solo, this game is really fun and very much recommended if you dont mind the short campaign. Its also very replayable and you can switch between classes at any time.

Acceptably amusing.
The shooty robots were enjoyable but there should have been more to shoot. Grinding upgrades and using alternate characters provided some replay but the (forgettable) story got in the way every single time. Skip... skip... skipskipskip... shoot.

The ending was so predictable. Still, the story kept me going just to prove that. The message wasn't anything different than an your average skynet experience; "HUMANITY IS FLAWED! I MUST DESTROY IT BECAUSE I AM AI."
Ig its fun if you like to shoot things but some of the gameplay mechanics were laggy or flawed. Solid 5/10 for a 1 dollar(on sale) experience. For a noob gamer like me, it was good boss fighting practice.
