相比前作有所进步，任务系统更加精简，优化了角色切换的互动。不过战斗系统依旧手感稀碎，包括部分场景互动的判定依旧糟糕。喜欢本作的菜单系统，各个菜单功能分布在开场场景芝加哥大学的各个教室中。故事基本还原了夺宝奇兵神秘惊险的氛围，依旧保留了乐高独有的趣味性，音乐沿用原作，关卡解谜难度有所下降，重复度较高。自此乐高游戏的基本逻辑框架趋于稳定。

当年在PSP上玩了2遍全收集全通关，真的非常好玩，steam买一份补票在steamdeck上玩。（通关后选择第二部那个小孩作为同伴，可以解几乎所有谜题
