Not as good as the 12 Labours of Hercules series, but decent.
This is one of those casual puzzle games where you have to use time management and resource management. The story takes place in legendary Atlantis...which I guess was a huge freaking island because it has mountains....and snow....and hellfire! I'm afraid I didn't pay much attention to the story but for some reason atlantis is sinking and you have to save the townspeople. You start on the coast and work your way inward.
You start with one worker guy, an advisor, and a queen who sometimes hangs around and sometimes allows herself to get kidnapped by bandits...who just stand there waiting for you to build the building for the warrior to come kill them. Yep, they just stand there hoping you will be scared by their manly wolf hats.
Everything is done by clicking with the mouse. Click on a pile of wood and the worker goes and collects it. There is wood, stone, crystal, and water in buckets. Use those resources to build walkways for the villagers (who can't wade the few feet to shore?!) and for your advisor who follows you in a moving vehicle of some sort (he's old so I give him a break). Each level gives you specific tasks to achieve to finish it. Along the way you have to build stuff like a quarry for stone, a woodcutter's for wood, a well for water, etc. Sometimes if you don't build things in the correct order you run out of something you need and have to start over. But usually you can just wait around for the generators to give you the items.
There are 2 difficulty levels, casual (not timed) and expert (time). The hard difficulty is timed and if you dont' finish in time you start over. I had no trouble finishing in time most of the way. Also, the achievements are only unlocked if you do them in expert difficulty. And the achievements were really easy to get other than the "Do a Hidden Object level in less than 45 seconds!" one. Ugh.
A few Hidden Object levels spice up the game occasionally (there's only 4-5 total). And also a few match three type, where you have to drop orbs into various contraptions and match the ones with glowing symbols on them. That was kind of cool but there's only a few of them.
Graphics are okay, I guess. The characters look weird to me, just strange. And sometimes it's difficult to tell where the pathways are that your workers can and can't go on. The Hercules games do a much better job of showing the pathways.
Music: it's the same boring tune the whole game. Ugh. It's a slow plodding flute-like tune. There are sound effects for when items become available at generators: such as a plop sound for the water. No voices.
In conclusion: not my favorite in this genre but nothing really against it.
tl;dr version:
Casual Time/Resource Management
A few Hidden Object & Match Three levels also
Easy and Expert Difficulties
Achievements only on Expert (mostly easy)

Legends of Atlantis is a typical time management game with mediocre design, but it is cheap and has plenty of levels to earn its price tag.
Long version:
Legends of Atlantis: Exodus is one of the many similar time/resource management games that have flooded Steam recently, and it follows the exact same mechanics. We control 1-3 workers through dozens of levels, whose task is to collect resources, then spend those to clear debris, and build lots and lots of production and transport facilities in order to help the inhabitants of the sinking continent to escape.
Because, apparently, there are 3 people on the entire island who know how to do manual labour.
Level design is incredibly erratic: some are laid back and easy to complete, others are almost a puzzle as they have require perfect resource management; and finally, there are levels where it takes ages to wait until you can collect the required amount of something from its only source. If they wouldn’t alternate randomly, the game would be a lot more fun to play, but in its current state only its length and price are its main strengths.

It is a time management, clear the road type of game similar to 12 Labours of Hercules and Roads of Rome. I generally really like this types of games, but I wasn't really a fan of this one and I can't quite point my finger as to why.
There is only real annoyance I have with it is that one some levels you can lock yourself from progressing further due to the lack of options to get the resources you need to progress further if you don't pay enough attention to the order you do things in (had to restart 3 levels because of it). It would would be nice if the game would tell you that you can't get achievements on casual mode and have to play expert mode instead.
It is not a actually bad game, I just really didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
Works fine with Proton (7.0-3).

In a nutshell: Nice little game. A few level design hangups, but otherwise it's a fun distraction. Format is very similar to the 12 Labours of Hercules or MOAI series, with a difficulty somewhere between the two. Requires more strategy than 12 Labours, but not edge-of-your-seat frantic like MOAI. Easy to 100%.
Gameplay
There are two difficulties - Relaxed (zen) and Challenge (timed), but they may as well be separate games. Despite the maps being identical, cleared levels don't carry over between them, so even if you beat Challenge you will have to start from the beginning on Relaxed. Achievements only unlock in Challenge mode.
Gameplay is smooth, but level design is messy. The maps look great at first, but it becomes tough to plan out routes. What you think is a path may not be a path at all, or is blocked by an obstacle halfway across the map. You'll also need to queue smartly if you want to get Expert times. Fortunately there are multiple ways to reach objectives, especially if you make good use of bonus items.
Bonus item pickups are randomly chosen from a list that you unlock through a handful of rather bland hidden object scenes. If you don't see the bonus(es) you want at the start of a level, just restart it for a new random pick. The RNG factor is kind of a neat idea though, because it can push you to come up with entirely different strategies.
Aside from the HOs, Legends also incorporates a simple ball-drop match-3 minigame. It's only a few levels though (one per 'world' like the HOs), and an acceptable way to change up the pace.
Other Stuff
The music is a terribly repetitive pan flute tune. I had to play with it turned off.
Achievements are super easy, and you'll probably end up with most or all of them before you even beat the game (there isn't one for beating the game, surprisingly).
The only bug I encountered was a small one in a single level (the one with the portal) where one worker was stuck idling even though there were actions queued. Restarting the level fixed it.
As far as replay value, unless you're going back to get top scores on everything, I suppose you can count the completely separate-but-identical Zen and Challenge modes.
Conclusion
Despite a hiccup or two, Legends of Atlantis is still a fun time management game that can hold its own next to the bigger titles, especially when it comes to difficulty. If you found 12 Labours too easy and MOAI too hard, this should be just right for you. Definitely worth a play if you're a fan of the genre.

If you enjoy time management games then this would be a good one to pick up. The artwork is drawn really well and the animations are too. The music is calming since you're going to use your organizational skills to advance through it. I didn't have a problem at all running it on a Win 7 64bit single core laptop. So the requirements are pretty basic. Some secret mini-games are included which I've never seen in time mgmt. before which adds a fresh and innovative addition.

LoA: Exodus is a nice little resource management game with nice (though cutesy) art. This is a definite time-killer for me and that's what I like about it. It's fun, it's quick, it's painless.

Legends of Atlantis: Exodus is an extremely fun time/resource management game. It's very similair to the 12 Labors of Hercules series and is a lot of fun to play. Definitely buy this if you are a fan of the genre.
