Yes, it was him.

it goes without saying, but gz storm and lazrool are one of the top developers of our time. really wish these lads would make a multiplayer game; a new legacy of epstein with co-op would do numbers on both the charts and my playtime.

Legacy of Epstein: Bad Omen might not be the most expected title to pop up on your Steam recommendations, but don’t let that deter you. This surreal, atmospheric indie game delivers a hauntingly unique experience that sticks with you long after you put the controller down. With a bold art style, cryptic storytelling, and immersive world-building, Bad Omen turns its unconventional premise into one of the most memorable journeys in the indie scene this year.
The game immediately pulls you into its world with stunning visuals and a foreboding sense of mystery. The environments feel deliberately off-kilter, with dreamlike distortions and symbolic imagery that give every area its own identity. It’s clear the developers took a lot of creative risks—and they paid off. Whether you're sneaking through dimly lit corridors or exploring eerie landscapes, there’s always something intriguing around the corner.
Gameplay-wise, Bad Omen blends exploration, stealth, and puzzle-solving in a way that feels fresh without being frustrating. It encourages you to slow down, observe, and piece together the story for yourself. While the mechanics are relatively simple, the way they’re layered into the game’s surreal narrative gives each interaction more weight. Discovering hidden clues and connecting the dots becomes deeply rewarding.
What really elevates the experience is the narrative presentation. The story is told in fragments—through cryptic dialogue, visual symbolism, and unsettling audio logs—but it never feels incoherent. Instead, it invites interpretation, and that’s part of the fun. Strong voice acting and an evocative soundtrack help ground the bizarre plot, giving it a surprising emotional core amidst the satire and mystery.
In short, Legacy of Epstein: Bad Omen is a bizarre but brilliant ride. It's not afraid to challenge players with its abstract themes and unorthodox structure, but it also provides a surprisingly polished and satisfying gameplay experience. If you're looking for something truly different—something that dares to be weird and thought-provoking—this game deserves a spot in your library.

I would like if this game included an Island DLC where you retrieve files from hidden stashes on the island but have to fight guards on your way through. It would add so much content to talk about. Other than that, W game, I would recommend it.

absolutely phenomenal game and a beautiful piece of horror. it requires multiple playthroughs to unlock all the achievements but it's worth it and it builds on the world more and more each time
