Not a huge platformer fan, but this is too cute and I end up trying to get all the collectibles in all chapters. I like the story integration, the bits and pieces of stories and cutscenes here and there. There's a character bond system that unlocks past memory cutscenes with them. The platforming is pretty precise so it can be quite hard in normal mode at times.

A positive reivew for sure, but mixed one for the platforming gameplay elements
I definitely think this is an AMAZINGLY wholesome narrative adventure. You really come to care for your rabbit family, and the world is charming, beautiful and engaging! It's so well designed and the storytelling is sweet and heartwarming.
Talki the parrot is definitely my favourite friend you encounter!
That being said...
My big issue is that while folks are saying this is a precision platformer, I think that this game on its 'normal' mode (which honestly is pretty much a HARD mode imo), has environments that are unfair no matter how precise you are. I as a completionist tried to go for every collectable and seed, and near Chapter 4 I started to feel like the mission to collect these things in Normal mode were either incredibly punishing and began to feel unfair, or genuinely almost impossible. This led me to swapping my game into easy mode to complete it. Some of the environmental elements, like the wind tunnels, are RIDICULOUSLY unfair and inconsistent regarding timing and directionally jumping. Theres little spots where SOMETIMES the spikes will kill you immediately and other times where they're more forgiving. Sometimes making the same jump DOESN"T land. Lots of little examples like this PLAGUED me during my playthrough on Normal mode.
If you got this game for platforming and LIKE suffering through you'll enjoy this part. If you got this platformer as an average platformer enjoyer it may be worth playing this only on 'Easy mode', because otherwise its relentless. And honestly near the end the 'easy mode' is just 'normal' mode imo. Some of the final 'boss like' fights are difficult in either mode.
AND most frustratingly of all, is that in some of the chase scenes, if you make a singular mistake you have to redo SEVERAL screens of what you just worked hard on to get back through. I do not know why that throughout the rest of the game you are given grace and can redo one screens worth of play, but in the chase scenes you brutally have to redo ALL of it if you mess up once. This led to so many redos that felt again unfair. Especially with the weasels chasing you whose speed and presistence would vary each time i restarted. ARGH definitely an element I DID not enjoy. So just be forewarned of bits like this.
AHEM.
Otherwise, I stayed for the storytelling, charming world and characters and did not regret it. The games absolutely worth its price point, worth playing overall and grumbling aside, the platforming is still pretty decent.
Lapin is delightful! Please enjoy!

I'm in love with this game !
Everything is cute even the characters and the game has beautiful landscapes ! The story is very good too but unfortunately I'd have preferred the game to be longer T^T

Cute game, although does provide good platforming. A Celeste-lite is a good comparing element. Cute story, feels like an amusment park game/story. Very sweet.

A platformer that has a decent amount of difficulty and a nice story. Well worth the price it's asking for.

Expected bunnies, got bunnies with slowly increasing difficulty which later on spikes quite a bit.
I talked to every npc that I found, I liked all of them, it was quite a journey.
The achievements were kind of silly honestly, playing on normal gave you 2 achievements for beating a level and at times you get achievements for starting the next level lol what's up with that?
The graphics style is very unique, but very charming, gameplay is very fun.
At times it felt like "Celeste, but bun", but then they varied the gameplay elements so much, so much unique stuff.
Kinda spoiler:
The sewer level was way too hard, them suddenly adding a timed mechanic to things, especially a very short time only, was crazy.
I collected all the seeds and had serious trouble with that one.
Then suddenly the boss which you had to chase kinda, omg were those timings specific, it took me an hour or so to get through that because if I went a second too late, the bottom of the screen killed me, otherwise the lightbeams and whatnot, so many things at once.
At the moment of playing that one level, that felt like the hardest game I ever played, and I played through the entirety of celeste lol
But once I got through that, I felt so good about it because the story acknowledged it also, I forgot about the trouble almost immediately because of it.
I will sooo replay this someday, when the memories of the story are not as fresh.
Honestly, I don't get invested in characters as much as I did with this game, which made this game even better for me.
