Laika: Aged Through Blood is a western-inspired motorvania set in a post-apocalyptic desert. It is the story about a tribe oppressed by occupant forces, and the personal story of a mother coyote warrior who descends on an endless path of vengeance to take back what her people lost.
Drive, jump and fight your way through the huge hand-drawn world on your trustworthy motorbike. Race through the sandy desert and perform dangerous jumps, shoot enemies in slowmo and reload your gun by performing a backflip! Use skill-based power-ups and persist challenging battles against big bosses!
- Vehicular combat on a fast and agile motorbike
- A beautiful, hand-painted and post-apocalyptic world filled with secrets and NPCs
- A deep story about a mother-daughter relationship, vengeance and loss, told through cinematic flashbacks
- Various chapters, epic boss battles and loads of missions
- The very first MOTORVANIA!

Ein wirklich sehr gelungener Titel! Eine schön erzählte Story, hübscher Grafikstil, weder zu leichter noch zu schwerer Schwierigkeitsgrad und nicht zu vergessen ein sehr schöner Soundtrack. Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits. ;)

something between 7 and 8 out of 10. great music, gameplay (besides a few choices I didnt understand) and even if the story was rudimentary it was captivating.
If the Upgrade System had a bit more depth and the exploring part would me a bit more exciting the game would easily scratch the 9 out of 10.

Honestly i have beaten the first boss so far and up to this point this game touched me emotionaly, impressed me with the transitions between clips back to gameplay, has not bothered me with any forced on boring backstories and is considerable easy for a game that could be labeled as a metroidvania.
Also the game has it's point about getting used to the controlls and the readability of the own character might be a bit hard, if you are willing to count that as a part of the difficulty instead of a design flaw you should realy try it out. The tutorial guides you to the point where you need to get to unlock and get used to all your movements and abilitys so no wrong ways untill your done with the tutorial.

Very frustrating game, bc its designed around dying, like the achievements also indicate. If you have a bad time mentally dont play it. Exploring is fun, music is good. Wish there were upgrading mechanics like in earn to die, but you instead get abilities, which is also fine.

Interesting gameplay and an awesome soundtrack so far.

I love the story, the music and the artstyle. Some boss fights can be quite tough bringing you to the brink of desparation.
