THE STORY
Klace returns with a third story, set on an Earth governed by fate and social discord. The year is 2041, and Komorebi dominates the world. A phenomenon that eludes understanding, causing people to regularly experience a vision of their future. The world is obsessed with “fate”. Obsessed with Komorebi; a word used to describe sunlight as it filters through the branches of trees. It’s a simple and poetic metaphor for the visions filtering into this reality. When the visions began, the world was never the same.
If Winds of Change was a story about how one person with visions (The Seer) can change the world, Komorebi is a story about how a world of visions can change one person on an intimate, personal level. A coming-of-age/slice of life story about a group of friends finding their way in a life they believe may already be predestined. Please note that while this world and the phenomenon of Komorebi are rather abstract, they allow for a realistic exploration into mental health topics that some may find distressing.

Overall it's a good game. It just lacks a few quality of life features, like a log, fast forward or a proper options menu. It also doesn't scale properly if you have a different resolution. You can 100% it easily :3

Absolutely phenomenal game, with a great set of characters. You know it's doing something right when it made me care about the characters enough at the halfway point of the game that when an event happens that could meant that any of all the cast were at risk, it personally gave me enough anxiety that I wasn't sure I wanted to continue the game. I wasn't sure if I actually wanted to know what happened to them or live in bliss. But I decided to push through it, and I'm more than glad I did. Like I mentioned, I love the characters in this game. And I absolutely did not some of the huge twists coming at all, but they make so much sense in hindsight. Definitely a full recommendation for me.

This is definitely more of a visual novel rather than a game. The story is very well-written and enjoyable. Characters feel real, However, there isn't much that the MC can do or change in the story apart from the romance dialogue.

Great, well written characters, brilliant Twists both well foreshadowed and still suprising. Later in the story, The game offers a SERIOUS mindfuck, that not only caught me by suprise, but left me with my jaw on the floor. The game doesnt offer a huge breadth of decisions, or attribute that much importance to them, but as long as you arent going in with that expectation, its an incredible piece of art. If you enjoy visual novels, give it a shot. Hell, even if you arent a furry, You will probably still enjoy it. The furry characters simply being the way the people of the world are, without a huge weight being placed on it. All in all, worth every penny. Down with argus!

The story is really engaging, with dense character development and an overall compelling narrative. While the very few choices you get don’t significantly impact the story, every second of it is still worth experiencing. Plus, the fact that it's fully voiced adds a lot to the immersion, making it well worth the price—though you might want to wait for a discount.
On the technical side, however, the game has some major flaws. It’s not unplayable, but the lack of quality-of-life features can make it frustrating at times. Accidentally skipped a line? There's no way to go back or check a log unless you have a recent save, meaning you might miss important dialogue. Additionally, the game lacks a proper exit option, forcing you to close it via Alt+F4 or any other abrupt methods you can think of. Loading a save can also cause minor bugs, such as misplaced text boxes or voice lines continuing to play even after they’re no longer on screen.
Lastly, achievements seem to be broken. Despite fully completing the game and meeting all the requirements, I haven’t unlocked a single one. May be frustrating for some players, since I am not the only one with this issue.

The story was quite a nice concept and catching. The voice acting only pushed that further and made it nicer to follow along. Definitely would recommend, as it now dragged me to play more story-driven Visual Novels (VNs), whilst almost never playing VNs before.
