THE STORY
Klace returns with a third story, set on an Earth governed by fate and social discord. The year is 2041, and Komorebi dominates the world. A phenomenon that eludes understanding, causing people to regularly experience a vision of their future. The world is obsessed with “fate”. Obsessed with Komorebi; a word used to describe sunlight as it filters through the branches of trees. It’s a simple and poetic metaphor for the visions filtering into this reality. When the visions began, the world was never the same.
If Winds of Change was a story about how one person with visions (The Seer) can change the world, Komorebi is a story about how a world of visions can change one person on an intimate, personal level. A coming-of-age/slice of life story about a group of friends finding their way in a life they believe may already be predestined. Please note that while this world and the phenomenon of Komorebi are rather abstract, they allow for a realistic exploration into mental health topics that some may find distressing.

I like the story, it could be a little more with the main character but I like what the developers were making here. I do hope there is more to this in the future

One of those games where I would recommend it to others, I enjoyed the story and the characters, they felt like an actual friend group making me feel nostalgic, especially since some of the characters have history between each other before Delta even arrives.
There were times I was glued to my seat on the tension and had to take a few breaks because of all the twists and turns in the game, surprised to find an easter egg to their other works too and making me realise that I have to finish those games.
The vocal cast were amazing, I was especially surprised who they got for Klace and Kyron, but besides that everyone was brilliant, I loved the artwork and backgrounds, I like how it also gives you the option of not romancing any characters, would say that Komorebi is definetly an experiance, it goes over topics of mental health, there might be some things mentioned that might trigger people so be aware of that, but it is a good game and I would recommend it to friends

Absolutely phenomenal game, with a great set of characters. You know it's doing something right when it made me care about the characters enough at the halfway point of the game that when an event happens that could meant that any of all the cast were at risk, it personally gave me enough anxiety that I wasn't sure I wanted to continue the game. I wasn't sure if I actually wanted to know what happened to them or live in bliss. But I decided to push through it, and I'm more than glad I did. Like I mentioned, I love the characters in this game. And I absolutely did not some of the huge twists coming at all, but they make so much sense in hindsight. Definitely a full recommendation for me.

Please play this game if you like visual novels
The story is amazing and the tension in later parts as a part of every visual novel is so exciting and the characters just felt so real
To anyone who reads this review PLEASE play this game

The story was quite a nice concept and catching. The voice acting only pushed that further and made it nicer to follow along. Definitely would recommend, as it now dragged me to play more story-driven Visual Novels (VNs), whilst almost never playing VNs before.

first off i'd like to say that i really did enjoy this game, i felt sadness and happiness at times.
though i will admit, i was very apprehensive at first about Klace as a character, i mean how can i not when the character shares their name with the developer, a blatant self insert character that you don't even need to own the game to see, that said i think it went well and i'd say that apprehensiveness was laid to rest once i got about half way through the game.
as for the other characters, i very much enjoyed them, to me they felt human, or at least human enough for me to get attached to them, felt genuine sadness when they opened up about their pasts and fear that they'd get hurt or caught. i think that the supplemental fragments are what really sold me on their believability
also, Zero is my favourite character, plain and simple
on a technical note, the game has 2 soundtracks, one vocal, one non-vocal
the non-vocal one is available on steam as DLC as per many other games
the vocal one however, due to developer drama, has been scrubbed from the internet, and even though the links to it are still up they all lead to 404s, leaving no legitimate way to acquire the vocal soundtrack (which really sucks because i like it)
overall i'd say its a solid 8/10 only really brought down by an ending that still leaves questions regarding the player's experience unanswered
