何度も練習して出来たときの快感、成長の喜び、そして抜群の演奏感
ビートマニアみたいな鍵盤の音ゲーもそこそこやり込む身だが、やはり見た目通り難しい...！
指一本で弾ける難易度もあるが、平均的には難易度高め。
誤魔化しの効かない、歯応えのある音楽ゲームをやってみたい人におすすめ。
現時点でもちょくちょく曲追加アップデートをしていて、好印象。新曲の度に新鮮さがある。
鍵盤だけでなく、ホイール操作があるのが特徴的で、ホイール操作中は片手が拘束されてもう片手だけで鍵盤を弾く必要があったり、頻繁にホイールを弄るパートがあるなど、面白さと難易度のバリエーションに一役買っている。
完全にピアノなので、もしかしたら純粋に鍵盤を弾ける人の方が初動はスムーズなのかも。
普段から音ゲーをやっていても、最初は低難易度でも苦戦すると思う。プレイしたことはないが、かつて存在した同じくキーボードがテーマの某音楽ゲームのプレイヤーなら、多少は経験が活きるのか？
しかし、難しい分、最初は不協和音ばかりが鳴り響いていた曲で、ちゃんと音が鳴り、正しいメロディになった時の快感は堪らない。同じ曲でも、ちゃんとプレイするパートの音量が目立つようになっていること、キー音が1鍵1鍵にちゃんと割り当てられていて、ホイール操作もちゃんと音に反映されるので、演奏感は抜群。
難易度分けは曲の中の楽器パート分けで実現していて、ピアノだけでなくパーカッションやドラム等の多様なパートがあり、当然パート毎に楽器も変わるため、プレイに求められる技術も違うのが面白い。同じ難易度数値でも、求められるテクニックが違うと大きく体感難易度が変わるので、あくまでレベルは参考値の感じ。
曲選は、やや年代を感じる曲も多いが、全体的に幅広いジャンルで飽きが来にくく、何かしらお気に入りの一曲が出来るのではと思う。好きな曲の高難易度をいずれ極めて、カッコよく鳴らせるようになりたいと思えれば、ハマり込める。
ただ、見ての通りピッチベンドとモジュレーションのホイールのある最低25鍵(2オクターブ)のMIDIキーボードが必要なので注意。
紹介ムービー見た感じ、ＰＣキーボードやホイールのない電子ピアノでも一応できるらしかった。同じ操作のできるキーボードがあるに越したことはないと思うが、現物がなくて普段音ゲーをＰＣキーボードでやっている人ならアリな選択肢だと思う。
