KAMIKO is a game styled around Japanese Shinto beliefs.
Fight as priestesses called "KAMIKO" and battle against demons while solving puzzles to make your way through the stages.
Look no further if you are looking for an arcade action game with a twist!
Each stage has several Torii (gates) which are magically sealed. Find a way to break all the seals to make your way to the stage boss.
Another fun and easy original created by indie games SKIPMORE.

it's kinda short, but, it's good, really good, trust me
if the devs put a effort on it maybe it turn something like momodora one day, with a cannonic universe and charismatic characters, i really enjoy my time playing it
(ah, i forgot to mention, i played with all the 3 characters in this 4 hours of gameplay)

Don't judge a game by it's cover: Kamiko is simple in it's graphic and concept, yet it's very challenging and entertaining. Four levels with increasing difficulty, three different maidens to beat them and purge the evil from the sacred lands:
Yamato: Blue haired girl from a family of water maidens, with her Blade of Kusanagi at hand, moves really fast. She has a little less power than the other two, but she can restlessly swing her sword, slaying enemies like no others can.
Uzume: A pink haired girl in deep connection with the forest is bestowed the Magatama of Yasakani, a powerful yumi. She can't move during an attack, but her long ranged arrows make up for that, keeping her safe from any evil.
Hinome: An energetic red haired girl, given the Mirror of Yata when she became a Kamiko. The mirror, which she throws around like a boomerang, can kill every monster in one hit and, while the mirror it's far from Himeno, she uses a dagger to slay those monsters that escaped her attack. Hard to control at first, but with some practice, she's quite strong.
The game is short, but there are a few secrets to be found and some challenge difficulty to achieve. I really like this game, so I hope you give it a try.

Pretty fun and short game, not especially difficult (took me around 1 hour to finish the first run). Very cute art and nice soundtrack. Do note though that the storyline is almost completely non-existent.
Replayability value is there mostly if you want to complete all the achievements (at this point I've only got one left before getting to 100%). Other than that, the different characters are interesting but I'd say there's not much point apart from doing speedruns.
Nevertheless this game kept me well entertained and was a good experience. Also, it ran perfectly on my Ubuntu using Proton so yay
