This game is absolutely lovely! I'm heartbroken to see it's a 2020 release and only has 2 other reviews so far (2024 at the time of writing this)! Criminally unheard of!
I snagged this after looking for "trippy" games during a migraine (I'm a lil crazy, what can I say XD). It's not even $3 and it kept me entertained for hours!
As a kid, I used to play with those flat shape blocks. I'm not sure what they're called. But I'd spend HOUSE making patterns with them! Even better if they were the magnetic kind and could sit on the fridge. This game brings those fond childhood memories to life, but with the added bonus of being 100% digital! No sitting up for hours, no tidying the blocks away, and no loss of physical space.
Admittedly, my autism might make this game exceptionally fun as I adore not only colors but repetitive tasks. But I think this is an absolute gem for anyone with a passion for art! Or any casual gamers who enjoy things like mandalas and design.
All together, this game scratches an itch I never knew I had! SUPER relaxing! Definitely gonna be a new go-to!
My only suggestions would be
- the ability to merge shapes
- the ability to clone shapes
- more colors (such as screen-picking?)
- the ability to adjust multiple shapes at once/shift-click shapes
As an artist, myself, (albeit, nothing amazing so far) and someone who has dabbled in game development, it is my most sincere hope that this game gains some traction! If you're reading this, consider forking over the $2.29 and supporting a small developer. Let's bring in some new players!!
