Just Cause 2: Multiplayer Mod

Its really sad to see the servers in 2024. . . The servers in 2023 were still active and I had lots of fun, GTA online cannot replicate this as just cause 2 online has more action and funny random stuff happening. To sum it up the servers in 2024 are just empty, im the only one playing day-to-day trying to keep it alive. PLEASE PLAY IT

It's 2025 and there is usually 0 to 6 players in a server.
Can a twitch streamer please play this game? Would love to see the servers come back to life like in the video on the store page.
At some point the game stopped opening for me but I managed to fix it by downloading a file for Just Cause 2.
100% recommend the game but bring some people to play it with!

I remember playing the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer with a friend long time ago, and it was an amazing experience. The chaotic, open-world combined with grappling hooks and vehicles, made every session a ton of fun. Unfortunately, the servers seem pretty empty these days, but I believe it can still be a great experience if you gather some friends. With so much freedom to mess around, it’s the kind of mod where you can create your own adventures, making it as enjoyable now as it was back then.

Super janky, prone to multiple crashes, no private servers but doesn't matter because no one plays anymore, no co-op campaign. Incredible game

Here we are in 2025 and I'm still playing this wonderful game with friends.
I first started playing the beta in February 2013 and still play every week.

The trick to having loads of fun is finding the right server to play on
I have tried a bunch of servers possibly all of them and I always came
back to Gaveroids simply because most of my friends play there and
I have a lot of fun while playing, The easy navigation of the controls
map system and earning money to purchase cars, planes and other items.
I also play Gaveroids lotto where you can win loads of money and points.
So far I haven't won yet but I will keep trying.
I would recommend this game to everyone, try out some servers today
if you love the series play the game and have some fun with friends.

I had to delete my other review because I failed to mention how
much fun this game really is and servers I played on.
Gaveroids and Luke JC servers are the ones I play on the most
Luke JC created a new server in 2024 and it's pretty fun.
I got on Gaveroids server a few days ago with Chou and he helped
me finally kill a submarine for the Gaveroids server achievement.
I get on there and just drive cars off cliffs with my friends inside.
Try out some servers see what perks they have and find a server
you like and can play on without the game crashing every few
minutes that's the key to having loads of fun and the two servers
I mentioned those are the only two servers I played on without
the game crashing every few minutes.

Fun multiplayer, had a good time. Most of the time there's total chaos on screen — no idea what's going on, but it's super entertaining. The madness is part of the fun. Great way to kill a couple of hours with friends.

A blast to play even to this day and a really unique take to the online open world sandbox formula...IF you can find enough people to play it that is which is a rarity these days since a average of 26 people still play this game daily to this day and the most popular server has been dead for a year now dwelling the playerbase even further. Shame, as this game had so much potential to be something bigger. Oh well
