Help the skeleton find himself up to the last bone and become a human again!
In Just Bones, you play the role of a skeleton who wants to become human again. You used to be a powerful mage until one of your dangerous experiments failed and caused an explosion that destroyed your body to pieces. The only part of your body that remains intact is your skull.
The explosion threw you far away from your home. Luckily, you still can move and think!
The goal is to collect bones and useful tools in order to make your way back home and restore your body back to its original appearance – but beware of dangers and puzzles that lie in your way!

- The path is set across many levels in caves, mountains and swamps

I won the key for this game on twitter and didn't really know what to expect.
The idea behind this game is very original (starting off with being just a skull and then collecting various body parts to solve the puzzels, which are challenging and fun. For instance, to dig away some dirt, you need a shovel, so you need to have arms, which means you also need a ribcage.
You earn keys by completing levels, the number of keys you get depend on how quickly you finish the level. So once you work out what to do, you will want to go back and get a better time if you didn't get all the keys.
The music and graphics definitely fit the mood.

A great game for its price!
A funny idea with masterful implementation: you’re a skull collecting its remaining bones for completing levels.
In some cases, when you can’t complete a level, you want to throw your keyboard out of window, but then you put yourself together and complete it – and it is worth it! Yes-yes, wonderful retro masochism is with us again 8)
All in all, expecting the continuation and a film version! I’m already imagining a screenplay...Huehuehue....

Right from the start this game also has shovels in it, so calling it 'Just Bones' is selling it short. This puzzle platformer uses skeletal assembly as it's mechanic to craft tricky levels and support backtracking with new abilities.
It's a clever setup and the game delivers on it's lighthearted jovial style, supported by weird visuals and bouncing soundtrack.
