From their unassailable fortress on the moon, a mysterious organization called Altair sends out letters of invitation to psychics around the world. Those who accept the invitation must participate in a psychic battle arena and compete for the ultimate prize: a single wish granted.
- Unconventional turn-based combat featuring a damage-boosting combo system and action commands. Commit acts of violence!
- Clear the various districts of Juno 06 in any order you like. Play difficult maps out of order.
- Unravel a plot of intrigue, ambition, and romance(?) featuring a cast of warped characters.
- Level up your units within the confines of each stage to heal them. Be careful not to let your enemies level up.
- Assemble a team from a diverse selection of classes. Recruit allies as you clear stages.
- Experiment with different badge effects and varying setups. Puzzle out your own route through Juno 06’s battle network.

Played the game twice, before and after the change to tile-based movement. Never played a game like this before, so was unexpected to find it quite engaging. Loved manipulating opponent counterattacks and the entire leveling system. It took a while to get the timing on clicks right, but I eventually got it down.
Other things to note:
- Great illustrations
- Amazing music (especially boss stages)
- Funny and compelling storyline
- Solid progression: Never felt particularly stuck on any part of the game, and the learning curve is quite forgiving
- Balance: Creator seems to address balance issues reliably and did not feel that certain classes were outright better than others.
- Planning: Used to have issues with planning due to somewhat inaccurate movement/attack ranges, but has been fixed with the new tile system.
Also, creator still puts out great updates. The recent (December 2024) updates have resolved most of my minor grievances with gameplay. Would highly recommend this game, even to people new to this genre.

Sunk an hour in and it's quite a good game so far!
Easy to jump into battles, nice art and music!
I'm still a bit early in the game, After a good 10-20 hours I'll probably have a few more things to add.
In short my first impression is that it's an pretty good Strategy/Tactical Rpg!

Juno 06 is a funny VN and good turn-based tactics game like Magellania, the first VN and game made by their dev. (I played Magellania on my old Steam account.) Its gameplay has some improvement over Magellania, especially after the grid-based movement update. The VN part of the game is also just as funny with enjoyable characters as the previous game.

Pros-
-Very funny writing
-Snappy gameplay loop (no grinding whatsoever)
-Parry timings are satisfying to hit
-Some very cool units, with one in particular being extremely unique
-Great soundtrack
Cons-
-Maps get pretty easy once you can deploy a full squad of 8. I played on standard not knowing what to expect, and now that I've finished I wholeheartedly recommend hard mode instead.
-The enemy attack radius is very hard to see on dark floors
-Your character often doesn't start within talking distance of the Stage select NPCs after completing a level
Overall, I enjoyed it. Blasted through the whole game in a couple days, and have saved a few tracks from the OST.
