Joes Diner
Somewhere along the venerable Route 7, in the middle of nowhere, you will find Joe's Diner. As an employee working the graveyard shift for the next month, your primary task is to keep the tables clean – no tough challenge at all. Unfortunately, there is a rub to it. The old Diner was built on the site of a former Indian cemetery. Amongst the buried, two rival chieftains lay to rest; while alive, each could not stand the other. One chieftain endeavors only to rest in peace. The other, a prankster both in life and the afterlife, is prone to ruffle the feathers of his fellow chief. Besides your tasks as a waiter, it is up to you to keep things calm and not incur the angry chieftains' wrath. To lay them both to everlasting rest just do your duty. Sounds easy but it is not – promised.

Creative idea for testing your multi skills and getting from easy to really hard (but makeable with less time resting if you have luck and most dishes are close to the kitchen and not much voices from office/ bathrooms). The last level is a real little nightmare (because difficulty, its not a Horror Game) you need to clean all tables from 15 things people let stay but if its not enough you need to stop nearly 20 things and some of them sound not much different so you need to think fast, and act even faster you need to pick up or avoid 3 objets the chips are great but the yellow swimming duck is smaller but still good to see even in dark lights but if you run trough a corner it can happen that you hit one and last but worst the rat trap very small and not good to see but even more a hell to pick up so you need maybe to avoid some rounds about it and cost time but this you dont have there are 2 things if you make to much sound you get a problem with the ghost and if you dont do all trash to the kitchen till 6 o clock you can restart too. Its not a very funny game only the sounds and design of the diner is really great and that if the sound comes louder and you get 3 message the fear comes to play the level again so its really good challenge to test your skills like what to do, what not and that in very less time only if you use the write strategies and have much luck you can beat level 30 a challenge for everyone but dont expect to much of the game its only a time hunt get better and better. So i give for the great atmosphere 75 % but show lets plays or the trailer and decide yourself how much it is worth to you (best is a good discount 7.99 is a bit really to much for 2-3 hours). Thanks for reading.

This is more of a neutral review because steam won't give us a 'meh' rating. Ignore half of my playtime as I've been tending to my protein skimmer which has added about 3 hours to my total. :P
This is a game that's alright for killing time if you're looking for something quick, straightforward, and repetitive. There's very little actual depth to the game or mechanics so I'll cut and dry this nicely for you, my most precious of darlings.
You're working for 30 days at a diner in the middle of nowhere which sits upon an old burial ground. Within that burial ground are two Chiefs who hate each other and they have been spending their eternity with one of them tormenting the other by being noisy. That's it!
While you tidy the diner(carry food items from the tables/counter to the trash can in the kitchen), one of the ghosts haunts the heck out of the diner by turning on appliances!! Ooooooh scary! But not, since you aren't in any danger of having to face combat situations. You have 5 minutes to quietly throw away trash. If you run out of time, game over. If you make too much noise, you see a picture of a Native American, and then it's game over.
Gameplay ramps up at about level 10 and it's mostly rng as to whether you can get all the trash thrown away before the timer runs out. I had almost no trouble avoiding the other ghost. I think I managed to make it all the way to level 27 before 'dying' so this game is pretty easy.
It ran really well on my potato machine and is in dire need of a 'continue' button because scrolling all the way down to continue on a later level kinda sucks.
I purchased this for about $3 at a 60% off sale. I would say that's about all it's worth. It feels kind of low effort like their sequel to PD. All the levels are the same, just slightly more activity or trash to collect. Sideways thumb, friends.

This is a not to be taken seriously supernatural game about being a relief waiter who's task is to look after a route 7 diner which was built on top of a sacred Indian burial site. Working for the next 30 nights as a relief waiter your job is to clear all tables each night. On the first night you will be tasked with clearing 5 tables while you get your footing, by night 30 you will be required to clear the arduous amount of 15 tables.
Making the task all that more difficult is the mischievous prankster ghost 'Laughing Bird' who loves to turn on noisy appliances in the hopes of awakening ill-tempered 'Grim Feather' who will apparently scare you with a picture of himself. To avoid waking him you need to quickly identify by sound which appliances 'Laughing Bird' has turned on and quickly run and turn them back off, clearing tables in-between. By night 10 you will be further introduced to noisy landmines. It seems 'Laughing Bird' has learnt how to leave crisp packets, rubber ducks and mouse traps around the floor. You can either quickly click on them to get rid of them, side step them, or just take the risk and run over them.
While novel at first, the game quickly becomes tiresome, especially on the last 5 levels as your simply not given enough time to clear all tables and are often at the mercy of needing a good spawn mechanic on your side when you begin the level. Failing to clear tables in time to an invisible countdown clock, means you will have to frustratingly do the whole level again.
Had potential, but becomes too repetitive fast. Would much have preferred if they kept changing background location to different parts of the diner/motel establishment every 10 levels. One thing for sure, 'Laughing Bird' is a jerk. I'm coming for you in the afterlife buddy...
Mwah ha ha (chuckle chuckle chuckle)
Below the last level of the game which just sends you to credits...

DISCLAIMER : This is not horror nor survival horror, don't get fooled by game tag.
What do you think, when a casual playfirst's famous dash games entitled "Diner Dash" become a comedy first person game blend with cheesy horror element? It's weird huh? But yes, that is the core of Joe's Diner gameplay. It is fun at it best, but you will be boring after some level because of repetitive gameplay. But, a casual dash game is repetitive right?
The mission is simple : clean all tables from dirty plates, empty bottle, etc ... before the time is up. If you fail, you get a gameover. But if you made loud noise while cleaning the tables or hang the telephone or shut down the printer, something disturbing will appear in front of your eyes and it is game over too.
If you want play a good horror games, you may avoid this game or you'll be disapointed. But if you want to play something weird first person dash games, try this.

I have finished the game before getting all the trading card drops. But I've liked it.
I would add a pointer for the mouse tho'

a weird game to review but here you go.
the idea behind this is probably best described as both hilarious and ret4rded in equal parts.
you run around, grab the garbage from the tables and stuff it in the trashcan. be quiet while doing so or the mad ghost will come and get you if you annoy him too much. at the same time another ghost (let's call him 'the funny guy') plays pranks on you and tries to get you killed by switching on all kinds of loud diner inventory or even placing rubber ducks and other stuff on the floor for you to walk over and make even more noise.
sounds like a fun game? weeeeell...
it's kind of fun for some time and just as short as it is cheap.
it only took me 2 1/2 hours to complete but on the other hand it felt like the game was over just as the utterly repetitive gameplay was about to bore the hell out of me.
if you just want to kill some time then give it a shot. it's a cheap one and not quite as horrible as it sounds in the description.
but if you want to have some quality time then run the f#ck outta here as fast as you can and never come back.
