🔶 JETMAN is action game based on a single button gameplay, defeat enemies and boss and strengthen yourself with points collected 🔶
Graphics (7 / 10) :
Overall nice graphics, based on 4 main atmospheres, forest, ocean cave and more to discover, and many types of different enemies.
Gameplay (7 / 10) :
Really easy to learn, since all based on a single button, the longer you press it, the higher you go, and you do max damage at the top high of your jump.
So everything is based on the high of your enemies, and timing, because enemies can dodge, guard you attack or even counter attack, so you have to know the mechanics of new enemies, and even more for boss.
Between levels, you win points for upgrading your characters, between attack (more damage, unlock a powerful special attack), defense (block first received attack on a level / recover HP every x seconds) and HP (improve max HP)
Price (6 / 10) :
Game cost 10€, and take around 3-4h for main complexion, an ok price but could be a little high for a game that could be completed in one day, in a long run.
There also an endless mode and completing the main game.
Story/Music/Optimization (6,5 / 10) :
Simple, just some dialogue between levels again the boss, or some tutorial after unlocking new features
The music is overall good, remind 8-bit sound effect like megaman or vectorman.
Good optimization, work well in my computer with no loading time, understandable since it’s a 2d game that only take 250 mb of download size (played on a i5; RAM = 8Go; VRAM = 2Go)
Final Note (6,6 / 10) :
🔶 JETMAN is a simple but good action game with a light RPG system, but the simple button gameplay can feel like a mobile game and pretty short and repetitive, recommended on sale 🔶

- Multiples zones with many types of enemies and boss
- Overall good and efficient RPG system (can improve attack / defense / HP)

- Really repetitive, even more because you only press on 1 button.
- Can be little too priced for this type of game.
