Jamboy and Billy need to get out of a giant’s belly, who’s swallowed them! Explore a world infested with guts and bones, while defeating dangerous food monsters and finding a way out of this fleshy laberynth! This silly action-platformer will unravel a story filled with absurd comedy, crazy twists and ridiculous situations that will have you on the edge of your seat!
Jamboy and Billy find themselves on the run from a Donut police officer!
They share a brief moment of conversation about their past mistakes, before being swallowed by Damien, some giant dude who just happened to stand there. What are the chances?? Pay attention when driving, kids!
After that, Jamboy will have to explore the insides of a giant’s guts. Laberynthis hallways filled with dangerous food monsters await him. Getting in might have been easy, but leaving this meatcave will be quite the challenge! Billy will leave voice notes along the way for Jamboy to pickup, so he can keep up with his perspective and all the juicy lore!!

Jamboy is just a nice jam-dude. He doesn’t speak much, so most things we know about him are through his actions. He seems to be a bit of a pushover, as his pal Billy always easily convinces him to take part in his mischievous plans. Maybe he agrees with his plans…or maybe he’s just to shy to say no. Will he learn to draw the line at some point?
Billy is quite the rebel. In his youth, he always did the opposite of what he was told. He likes to steal stuff and run away from the police…or at least that’s what his hobbies seem to be according to his dating-profile description, maybe he’s just trying to sound tough. He’s also quite the manipulative bastard, he always blackmails his best friend Jamboy into participating in his twisted plans. Overall, not the most pleasent fella, but he grows on you.

Ich habe dieses Spiel vor Kurzem entdeckt und muss sagen, dass es mich sehr überrascht hat. Man darf sich bloß nicht von der süßen (no pun intended) Aufmachung nicht täuschen lassen, dieses Spiel ist echt herausfordernd. Das Spiel hat einige Chapter mit mehreren Levels, wobei ich noch nicht weiß wie viele es sind und ob im Verlauf der Entwicklung noch weitere Level reingepatcht werden. Es macht auf jeden Fall Spaß auch wenn das "Permadeath" Feature, dass man das komplette Spiel neustarten muss, wenn man im Spiel alle Leben verbraucht hat, natürlich auch ein wenig frustrieren kann. Das Spiel scheint eher an Hardcore-Jump&Run Fans adressiert zu sein und dafür macht es eigentlich vieles richtig.
Hervorzuheben sind im Positiven:
Die Grafik ist wie schon gesagt ziemlich cartoony, allerdings auch ziemlich gut gemacht. Die Gegner sind kreativ ausgedacht und das ganze Setting (im Verdauungstrakt eines Menschen) sehr neuartig und definitiv potenzialträchtig und auch ziemlich gut umgesetzt. Dahingehend auch geil, dass die "Lava" in diesem Fall Magensäure ist.
Die Animationen sehen auch alle gut aus.
Verbesserungswürdig ist auf jeden Fall das Movement des Charakters. Man hat oft das Gefühl, dass Sprünge und vor allem Anhaftungen an Wänden nicht richtig registriert werden oder dass man zu früh registriert wird und bei einem verhauenen Millimeter-Sprung direkt in die Magensäure fällt. Dies sollte auf jeden Fall angepasst werden. Ist gibt auch des Öfteren unmögliche Sprünge, da Jamboy keinen Anlauf nehmen kann. Außerdem verstehe ich nicht ganz warum man andauernd neue Waffen bekommt, wenn sich diese kaum unterscheiden und eh alles nur Schlagwaffen ohne wirkliche Effekte sind.
Ansonsten kann ich das Spiel durch seinen guten Zustand allerdings allen Pro-Gamern im Bereich Jump&Run herzlichst empfehlen.

Ich bin jetzt nicht so der riesen Jump and Run Fan, ABER dieses Spiel hat Potential. Es macht, auch mir, trotzdem Spaß, auch wenn ich öfter fluche und von vorn anfangen muss XD Es hat eine super schöne, fantasievoll gestaltete Spielwelt, so wie liebevolle Charaktere und der Rest liegt halt am eigenen Können :D

super spiel mit richtig schönen charakteren, musik und atmosphäre. bin ein paar mal durchgedreht weil ich 2 linke hände habe und zu ungeduldig bin. aber es hat echt viel spaß gemacht! ich hab auch keine bugs entdeckt. 10/10 design
