While Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison earned her codename defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force, when evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes the members of his cybernetic cult onto the streets of Neo DC, she knows it’s time to start causing explosions instead of preventing them. Her quest to slay Heskel leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There’s no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning. Shelly’s crusade to take down Heskel’s army will see her leave destruction in her wake with a wide arsenal of weapons, complete with alternate fire modes and different ammo types. Her signature revolver, the tri-barreled Loverboy, brings enemies pain and players pleasure with both single shots and Old West-style hammer fanning action. Who needs a regular shotgun when you can load buckshot into your grenade launcher? Violent, over-the-top Bowling Bombs rip enemies apart with ease.

Le doy un 8/10, realmente se siente como un juego a la vieja escuela, pero pasado de las primeras 4 horas, se alarga mucho, los mismos enemigos, y no le vez el final.
Y en el ultimo tramo te enfrentas a todos los jefes previos muchas veces y se vuelve algo cansado. Y el final bueno, a la vieja escuela.

La Secuela que nunca vamos a tener gracias a los hdrmp de Gearbox y 2K que no entregan la IP de Duke Nukem desde ese desastre de Duke Nukem Forever en 2011 y tampoco hacen nada referente a Duke Nukem ya Ion Fury te pone en la piel de Shelly Harrison "Alias" Bombshell o Ion Maiden en la ciudad de Neo D.C a detener un doctor transhumano llamado Jadus Heskel que quiere controlar al mundo con sus Cibercreaciones es una historia basica como muchos juegos Retro 90s del estilo antes de Half Life usa el Build Engine mas alla de sus cosas interesantes que tenia en los 90s y tiene todo lo carismatico de Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior de 1997 y Blood otro shooter 90s infravalorado interaccion con el entorno y niveles secretos utiles referencias grandiosas y divertidas y por sobre todo diseño de nivel y arte grandioso ultra recomendado si sos fan de Duke Nukem y miras a Civvie11 sobre su catalogo de juegos retro o de los 90s
