The remnants of human civilization are threatened by gigantic creatures breeding beneath the earth. You must control powerful mechs from the future to hold off this alien threat. Each attempt to save the world presents a new randomly generated challenge in this turn-based strategy game from the makers of FTL. Defend the Cities: Civilian buildings power your mechs. Defend them from the Vek and watch your fire! Perfect Your Strategy: All enemy attacks are telegraphed in minimalistic, turn-based combat. Analyze your opponent's attack and come up with the perfect counter every turn. Build the Ultimate Mech: Find powerful new weapons and unique pilots as you battle the Vek infestation across Corporate-Nation islands. Another Chance: Failure is not an option. When you are defeated, send help back through time to save another timeline!

I spent much more time in this game on Android and finally decided to buy it for my PC. A good tactics game. The difficulty feels appropriate unlike FTL - here easy is actually easy. Some mech squads are useless without a maxed out pilot. The RNG can be annoying, especially with the first squad because of how limited your arsenal is.

Gra poziomem trudności przypomina mi stare dobre strategie turowe z SSI.
Zasobów masz niewiele, miejsca na błędne decyzje jeszcze mniej.
Nie masz co przyzwyczajać się do swoich ludzi bo i tak... zginą, przynajmniej większość z nich.
Przegrasz niejeden ale kilkanaście (kilkadziesiąt?) razy?
Ale to w tej grze właśnie stanowi o jej wartości, pokazuje Ci, gdzie Twoje miejsce i jak należy szanować to czym dysponujesz.
Jednocześnie, nie jest zbyt skomplikowana, podstawy można zrozumieć po kilku bitwach, a umiejętności i taktykę szlifujesz później.
Polecam wszystkim strategom, którzy potrzebują chociaż na chwilę oderwać się od Warno, czy innych Combat Mission.
