The game is like roboter chess. I recommend playing it on "easy" at first because it's a pretty difficult game. After some getting used to it was a smooth experience to beat "easy" mode. I didn't even start to dive into the depth of multiple mechs and upgrades, so I expect that the game will have more to explore and enjoy when I go to the "normal" and "difficult" modes.

good, but difficult. more often than not you wont be able to get a perfect clear and have to make some kind of sacrifice. I would rank flt above this game though. both are indie strategy games which i couldnt beat yet.

I like the design and think that the game is very polished. However the game is still very frustrating to play. The enemies often imobilize you from the very first turn, so if you're unlucky you instantly fail the missions of the fight. This wouldn't be so bad, but the game punishes severly for failing any mission. So there is a knock on effect, being unlucky once means failing a mission, means loosing out of reputation which means, you can't upgrade you mechs easily. And that means, that following missions become harder. Still the game is incredibly well made and the combat mechanics are very well fleshed out. So I still give a thumps up, even though I enjoy other strategy games way more

So many variables to consider, so many achievements to unlock, so many abandoned timelines needed. This game is so well produced that for the first time I really do not care about losing, because it is necessary to go forward just ever so slightly, coin by coin. Chess meets Mechwarrior is also such a cool setup.
