In the final days of the Inverse, you must help the Archaeologist recover the last remaining memories before they are lost forever. Fly through ancient skies and abandoned oceans to discover the lost history of this fading realm, where entire civilizations have died, yet their gods still wander. InnerSpace is an exploration flying game set in the Inverse, a world of inside-out planets where gravity pulls outward instead of in. InnerSpace began as a project among college friends and evolved into a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014. After years of development, PolyKnight is proud to welcome you to the Inverse. Your greatest journey is within.

Had some fun with the game and it tries something different as a 'walking' simulator where you fly instead as you explore and unravel spatial puzzles and collecting objects but there's no real driving impulse to get you to keep going after you get bored and you will get bored.
All in all had fun for a few hours so can't judge it too harshly.

I'm surprised at the mixed reviews. Reading through them, my guess is that Inner Space requires a controller and a strong stomach. If you don't get sick easily from games and you like the idea of flying for exploration's sake, you'll likely enjoy this game.
I think the sheer number of collectibles is unnecessary, but the core gameplay is fun and it feels good to improve your skills. Took me about 4 hours, ran perfect on Steam Deck, looked beautiful and unique, really scratched an itch for a non-combat, not-on-rails flight game.

This game is a calming exploration of stunning, inverted worlds where gravity is turned inside out. The visuals are mesmerizing, and the ambient soundtrack adds to the relaxing atmosphere. It's perfect for those who enjoy a more meditative gaming experience, focusing on discovery rather than action.

I normally don't take the time to leave a review, but I noticed how many negative reviews this game has, and I don't understand why. This game is beautiful, it is stunning, it is a masterpiece, short but sweet. The negative reviews here complain a lot about controls. I would agree, if it didn't have a settings menu that let you change every keybind down to the buttons for literally navigating the menu. People also complain that it is disorienting and weird. That I will agree on, it can be a bit odd at first, and if you don't like unusual movement, this game probably isn't for you. Thing is, I love it when games take something that you take for granted, and make it unique and weird, and this is no exception.
My single complaint about this game is that the story isn't great. Don't spend time trying to read any of the lore, just follow as well as you can with the dialogue in-game, and you'll kinda get the idea.
Overall, Inner Space is a beautiful game with a wonderful world to explore, and I would absolutely recommend it.
