The game is wholesome, but the DLC did a great job, it's a different story, bro. What's more, it reflects the atmosphere of Initial so much that it was in the Initial Battle Stage, and not only that, like in Initial D's fourth stage, the 1v1 fights and music are straight out of the anime, but also the visuals, style, and atmosphere it conveys, the blur of the lights on the corners that stay in the air like in a real anime!!!! It's amazing! I see references from Initial D everywhere, e.g. slightly changed anime-style characters and names changed, for example Toyota Trueno = Coda Supreno, more importantly, I like it when something is not copied but has an original idea and this game definitely knows what it's doing.
