Best paradox game, very polished and has deep, engaging core mechanics. Some things could use updating, for example tribal gameplay. Ironically the lack of constant dlc pumping works great for the game. The biggest flaw is lack of regional flavour in most of the world. Playing as a greek, roman or diadochi is very flavourful, but an iberian, ethiopian and tibetan campaign won't differ by much. This only big flaw is nullified by mod Imperator: Invictus, wchich greatly enriches regional differences while keeping core Imperator gameplay. There are some other great mods, like the iron age and the bronze age mods. Definitely worth its price. No dlc needed for a great expierence.

Niezależnie od tego, czy jesteś fanem strategii, czy też po prostu pasjonujesz się historią, "Imperator: Rome" jest grą, która z pewnością cię wciągnie. Jej bogactwo możliwości, historyczna autentyczność i dopracowanie sprawiają, że stanowi ona wyjątkowe doświadczenie dla każdego gracza.

The game was not stellar for single player at start, but it is in very good shape now and highly recommended. As of today, I'm more eager to play Imperator:Rome than Crusader Kings III and Crusader Kings III was really fun when published.

I absolutely love this game. It brings some great ideas to Paradox games: pops mechanics, founding cities, credible and fun culture mechanics, missions, domestic politics and others. Its replayability is huge too - every nation is a completely different experience.

Seeing the city you founded on newly conquered land thriving after 60 years is something unique. It's a HUGE pity that this game is abandonned! Come on Paradox, do something about that.

Gra miała MOCNO problematyczną premierę, ale po wielu patchach gra się w nią przyzwoicie. Szkoda, że Paradox "wstrzymał" rozwój z powodu małej ilości graczy, mam nadzieję, że prace zostaną wznowione. Na ten moment polecam sprawdzić grę wraz z modem Invictus, który wzbogaca doświadczenie.

Takie 7/10 jeśli lubisz starożytność, jak nie to max 5/10. Gierka dobra, choć z czasem bardzo powtarzalna.
