DISCLAIMER
-------------------------------------------
THIS IS AN OPEN BETA GAME
-------------------------------------------
The steam store page makes no mention of this, so if you are expecting a completed and polished game, move along now.
The tutorial is very basic and there is much which still needs to be explained to the player.
There is a very small player base at the moment, so you may end up playing bots or much stronger players.
The game is being actively developed, so while your collection seems safe, your decks may randomly be deleted and the cards themselves may change.
-------------------------------------------
That being said, I am going to tentatively recommend this game.
ART
The art is nice though there are a lot of reused pictures
MUSIC
The music is a bit simple and repetitive, but I enjoy listening to it while I play.
MECHANICS
The mechanics are straight forward for the most part.
Almost everything is recognizably from other games you have played in the past. Both players have four card slots in which they can play their units. Each turn they gain mana to spend on either units of spells. The units can attack the other player or their units on the board. The goal is to kill the other player.
There are no surprises there, but it is well implemented.
F2P
You start with three copies of each zero star card. Through playing games, leveling up, and completing daily missions you can earn more cards. You will mainly get 2 star or lower cards, but it is possible to get higher and you can grind your excess 1 and 2 star cards into better cards. (you only need 3 copies of any card). At this point in time, unless you want cosmetics, you don't need to spend money. That being said. from what I've seen in other decks, some of the 4 star cards are significantly stronger than lower level cards.
OVERALL
Keeping in mind this is a beta, the game is worth giving a try. Its promising and I look forward to seeing how it develops in the future. Once it stabilizes and leaves beta, I may change my opinion, but for now its worth trying.

8/10 very good the 2v2 mode is very well done and the boss is good to fight for rewards even if you cant beat it yet and the sounds and artwork are amazing and the cards are unique

After a few more hour, i've got another conclusion to this game
The dev are reactive to his game, and balance the cards to be more fun
Still a little frustrating sometimes, when you know you can't do anything
but it's funny, especially the boss fight. even if it's totally unfair, i love to try to take it down first

Ilhumia is quite the solid card game. While I haven't spent an enourmous amount of time with it, so far it has proved to be a a great game to play! While the game is somewhat buggy and unoptimised-which is to be expected because it's in an Open Beta-competitively it seems to be fairly in-depth, with lots of cards and strategies.
Pros:
-Great anime card & background art; probably what makes the game distinct
-Good mechanics; the mana system is new and great
-A fairly easy-to-use UI.
Cons:
-Open Beta issues; small amount of bugs and stuff.
-The current Boss seems somewhere near unbeatable.
-The servers are somewhat lacking but still manageable.
-The metagame currently is a bit unstable-updates are made very constantly. While this isn't necessarily bad, it can make it hard to keep up. These back-to-back updates can sometimes make fairly big changes.
Overall, I give the game an 8/10. Good job, Onutrem!

The game is pretty good, although there isn't many players on at a time but the bots are generally fair.
