I Wani Hug that Gator!
Wait, what do you mean we’re moving?!
Just great; just when Inco was getting ready to move on into his Senior year, his parents decide to uproot his life and move half-way across the country!
Guess it’s time to start all over. Sure, Inco didn’t have many friends (or any) back at his old school, and sure, he was so low on the social ladder that he had to get a deep-sea diving lesson…. Wait, why was he complaining about moving again?
I Wani Hug that Gator is a multi-ended, choices-matter visual novel about second chances and the power of accepting who you are. Shape how Inco makes the most of his final year, and how the relationships he makes along the way will develop. One relationship in particular has him feeling all fuzzy inside…
The Prehistoric Romance a Million-and-One Years in the making!
If there’s one good thing to come out of Inco’s sudden relocation, it’s Olivia. Bold and brash, Olivia seems particularly gifted in getting under Inco’s skin. No matter how Inco slices it, he and Olivia seem destined to go together like a particularly scaly sandwich. But the outcome of such a pairing is yet to be determined…
Wait, am I being graded on this?!
Make friends, reconcile enemies, and figure out how Inco could possibly repair his miserable excuse for a social life. But be warned: The choices you make expands the relationships with Inco’s classmates and determines which of the four unique endings you receive. Maybe Inco should’ve spent a little less time studying and a bit more time learning how to relate to people…

Most of the 'why the game is very good' is already explained in other reviews. I only write this for those who are frustrated by characters in VNs that seem very superficial or steriotype-esque. This game/VN has no characters that feel like that, not even the simpler ones are just stereotypes. The same goes for the decisions. Most VNs work with either very obvious 'correct' answers or strange 'correct' answers.
As someone who thinks of himself as someone who actually tries to think about long-term effects as well, this game was propably the first one who I felt vindicated by my choices and their consequences.
It's also very refreshing to see a game that has furries (or scalies I guess) in them that isn't about LGBTQ+ Content ...aaand I propably need to explain why or else I just be called names.
While I don't mind different sexual orientations... I, like most people, don't have a lot to do with LGBTQ+ oriented people. When the hole cast of a game consists only of those very specific genders it not only takes away that those genders are special it usually makes the whole situation feel quite sureal. At least that's how I feel and since I like to immerse myself in games like these that was a net positive in this game.

Ich fand am Anfang das spiel sehr "Besonders" die Geschichte ist cool, kann man nur sagen "kann man machen" und ganz am ende habe ich sogar Geweint, liegt aber auch daran das ich zwiebeln geschnitten habe aber egal.

I am absolutely in love with this game! It is so well put together and there is so much thought behind it. All the tiny details that the devs put into this game are absolutely lovely. The artstyle is cool too! I feel like words can't it justice how beautiful this game is. Everyone should play it for themselves! <3

Really nice, sweet story. Did get my heart broken just a little bit by the first ending I got. It is safe to say that I would, in fact, want to hug that gator, as much as I encourage you to do the same :)

herz erwärmend. da ich jemand bin der sonst nie visual novels spielt hat es mich überrascht das die story mich emotional so berürt dazu muss ich sagen wenn ich VN spiele meistens es beim ersten ending belasse um die story ruhen zu lassen. 9/10 and they need to add the jumping gator sticker to the pointshop.

At the beginning i didn't knew what to think about it since I also dislike sudden big timeskips.
Overall i ended up enjoying the main crews personality and character development of our Gator girl.
Not to many choices but enough to make it feel alright combined with the good written story.
Seems like some are a bit dissapointed about it compared to the similar games, but so far there is enough that makes me think it's still great if you try and see it on it's own.
Well I still have to complete the game and combined with the demo it would be 11 hours at this point.

I love this game it was fun playing it, but it is not perfect the side characters are not as good as snoot game and the backgrounds are still just picture with a filter, but I saw a massive improvement in writing and character design. 8/10
