High Entropy: Challenges
Use computers (via GUIs or the command line), unlock doors, crawl through vents, fight enemies head on or find other ways to neutralize or avoid them…
Challenges
High Entropy: Challenges is a free, action-adventure FPS (inspired by some of my favorite immersive sims) consisting of a beginning, 15 levels, a default ending and a special ending if you finish with a 100% score in all levels.
Command Line Interface / Fists vs Shadows
The computers in the game include a command line interface for those interested in overcoming some obstacles the ‘hacker’ way, but the levels are designed so there’s always an alternative way to advance (except once as an introduction in level 7, and the exact commands needed then are written in a document next to the corresponding computer). Some secondary objectives and achievements require its use, but there are manuals placed around the levels that gradually introduce how do it.
Also, some of the levels offer multiple paths to solve them, being able to choose a more action oriented approach or a stealthy one, and include some achievements related to this (Path of Fists, Path of Shadows…).
High Entropy
Hopefully, High Entropy: Challenges is a fun stand-alone gaming experience by itself, but it was also made to serve as a way for people to help me test my ideas out and see if creating High Entropy –the extended, commercial version I have in mind– is viable and something people would enjoy (it would include this challenges mode and an exclusive story mode).

This game is challenging, forces you to think before you act, demands the player to watch for every detail, and is properly coded. Graphicswise it is not beautiful or technically advanced but got a pragmatic game design, a believeable world and nice cartoony characters. Levels are short (10 min per level average) but challenging and tasks/achievements plentyful.
It s a very good demo for an upcoming emersive sim and it s completely free.
No risk here. Trying recommended.

The game is quite small, but I guess it is likely that the developer publishes a version with more content (maybe also new mechanics) and a story as he got a lot of positive feedback already. This game looks quite good has moderate system requirements, has no bugs and has smooth controls. A huge part of the game is solving these computer puzzles, which are not that hard to solve as you get all the hints you need directly beneath the computers, but you won't solve them instantly.
As it is free it is definitely worth a try, An improved full version of this game would be worth it's money for you if you are a fan of "Actionpuzzlegames". I personally would have wished for the puzzles to require some programming skill (e.g. you have a java project when you log in at a computer and you have to write a new method to change the attribute "value" of the attribute "closed" in the class "door" from "True" to "false" ). I think that this wouldn't be any harder if you have a good tutorial and you could learn an important ability for your life. Mods could insert harder puzzles for people who have some programming experience. All in all this game is great and you should absolutely consider playing it.

Sehr schönes Spiel. // Good Game.
Kann ich empfehlen // Can i recommend.
Auch wenn die Security Bots (Nicht die Roboter auf 2 Beinen) manchmal buggen und sich kaum bis gar nicht fortbewegen.
//
Even if the security bots (not the robots on 2 legs) sometimes buggy and barely move, if at all.

Mag das Aussehen sehr und es lässt sich einfach super spielen, auch die Schwierigkeit finde ich super nicht viel zu leicht auch nicht viel zu schwer.
