I can't believe it took me this long to find and finish such a masterpiece. The game just started and I instantly got engaged. The music and the precise timings really guide you into a flowstate that will make you panic when "It's already 3 AM??!!!". The fights got their punch and allowed me to just let it out on the Punching bags ennemies. And once that was done, I went back to jumping from platform to platform, while the music continued to carry the energy I would need for the next fight. Each boss was really unique, whether it be the fight or the boss themself. Each of them as eccentric as can be. And the humour in this game, just the cherry on top. Just explaining how much lighthearted fun and silly jokes can be found in an otherwise very tense facility would need me a second chapter... Each time I expected something of this game, it would triple my bets and surprise me with jokes I didn't even think were possible in such a scenario. This absolute gem just became another reason I would like to be amnesiac and replay through this whole game for the second first time
TLDR: 12/10. This game is the perfect balance of precise platforming and energetic combats and it will surprise you with how much humour a level can be filled with ( AND YOU CAN EVEN PAT THE CAT )

The game features a very strong art direction, reminiscent in some ways of *Dispatch* in terms of visual style, although it feels lighter and less mature in tone.
The gameplay is genuinely engaging, blending beat ’em up combat in the vein of *Devil May Cry* with rhythm-based mechanics. Having to stay in sync with the music to maximize damage is very well integrated and makes combat feel dynamic and satisfying. Animations are clean, and the companions are also well designed and enjoyable to play alongside.
In terms of story, this is not its strongest aspect. It starts off well, but it quickly becomes easy to predict where the narrative is heading and who the main antagonist is. I also would have preferred more freedom in structure, perhaps a more open world approach instead of a level-based system, although that comes down to personal preference.
The gameplay can also become somewhat repetitive over time. The game is relatively short, around 11–12 hours, so you reach the end of its loop fairly quickly. The soundtrack is excellent overall, even though a portion of it consists of original tracks created for the game. I might have preferred a slightly larger selection of well-known licensed songs, but it still fits the game’s identity well.
There is also a lack of customization. It’s unfortunate that most skins are locked behind DLC, even if a few can be unlocked through progression. More in-depth customization options for both the main character and the cat would have been welcome without relying on additional purchases.
Overall, it’s a solid game to pick up on sale, especially for players who enjoy rhythm-based action games with a strong and distinctive visual identity.
Pros:
Strong and distinctive art direction
Original gameplay mixing action and rhythm mechanics
Smooth and dynamic animations
Very good optimization and performance, even at high frame rates
Strong soundtrack and musical identity
Accessible gameplay
Cons:
Predictable story
Gameplay can become repetitive
Somewhat restrictive level-based structure
Limited customization without DLC
Relatively short length
