Heroic Mercenaries is an action game taking place in a beautiful fantasy world. The legendary dragon Naoce just destroyed your town, will you be able to take your revenge?
Sling spells left and right in this top down shooter, where you’ll have to face waves of enemies in three different gamemodes. During missions, you will be tasked with either taking down a boss, defending a specific point, or destroying a structure. Each character has their own playstyle: shoot fireballs and thunderbolts with the powerful wizard, heal and strengthen your allies with the radiant priestress, or trick and scare your enemies to death with the terrifying demon!
Choose your character and form your mercenary band by recruiting allies such as knights, swordsmen, assassins and even cute dogs!
Take on the challenges of the missions the town of Dragonless has to offer, through which you’ll become stronger and build a strong team… Maybe enough to defeat the dragon!
As you grow stronger, customize your experience with skill points for your character and decorations for your house which provide combat bonuses!

Arena battles
STORY
There is a small one. The dragon destroyed the magician's castle and now he wanders in search of work and finds it - performs various tasks.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is an arena battle.
There are three types of heroes for one of which you can play.
We fight as part of a squad of mercenaries who can be recruited in the tavern.
We choose a task and go there. There are several types of missions. Sometimes you have to fight bosses.
For gold, we pump our house, which will give good bonuses.
For getting levels, we develop the skills of our magician.
Consider the pros and cons of the game, sum up.
PROS:

CONCLUSIONS
An excellent grinder, with fast battles in the arenas. In all respects - an enjoyable game.

The music is really good and catchy, it pushes you to stay in movement as the game is fast-paced.
The difficulty, different class builds and the arcade mode add to the replayability.
Out of the 3 classes, the gameplay of the Demon (calling him the Necromancer would maybe fit more) is the most original by not damaging the enemy HP but by killing them with fear. Also his power is multiplied when the enemy is weaken by the other allied mercenaries, it really adds something fresh to the genre.
The strength of the game is found in its whole bunch of spells and power-ups and the many ways to launch creative and powerful spell combos! The behavior of the enemies is meant to be predictable (as described in "the book" in-game). A spell on its own won't do much but by playing with the allies, the enemy HP, fear meter, and positioning I was able to wipe out the entire screen. And it's satisfying.
