Hellpoint is a dark and challenging action RPG set in a heavily atmospheric sci-fi universe where the line between science and occultism is blurred. Once a pinnacle of human achievement, the Irid Novo space station has fallen. Its ruins are now overrun by cruel interdimensional entities acting as puppets of the malevolent Cosmic Gods. You have been created by the Author, organically printed on Irid Novo and sent on a mission to find out the unholy series of events that led to the catastrophic incident known as the Merge.

Amidst many Dark Souls clones, this one stands out. Keeps the soulslike core while also doing things on its own.
Welcome to Irid Novo - an enormous space station orbiting a black hole. If that sounds unconventional, wait till you see the rest of the game. Sci-fi meets space magic, topped with a heavy, dark atmosphere.
Level design is labirynthian at times, with lots of verticality and massive amounts of secrets that most of I would easily miss if not for hints left by the community.
Stats may be no less confusing, but there are descriptions and with enough trial and error you can come up with the build you like. What also helps is item upgrades can be freely changed between one another, making the whole thing easier and less grindy.
A few bugs aside, this was a wonderful journey.

Best. Soulslike. Game. Really. Fair and honest with good plot. Game could be a little harder, but it's still best soulslike game because it is not frustrating and not unfair.
