About the Game Neighbor is a stealth horror game about sneaking into your neighbor’s house to figure out what horrible secrets he’s hiding in the basement. You play against an advanced AI that learns from your every move. Really enjoying climbing through that backyard window? Expect a bear trap there. Sneaking through the front door? There’ll be cameras there soon. Trying to escape? The Neighbor will find a shortcut and catch you.

In my opinion the best version of Hello Neighbor, the most polished game made before the downfall

I doubt anyone's even looking at or playing this game but this is a masterpiece for one of its best features: the console.
The maximum amount of time somebody would spend on this is about 2 hours max. Since the game's beatable in about 10 minutes (if you're a total newbie), the shortcuts you can find, when you learn how to play the game like a true pro, are insane. Less than a minute.
Beating the game without shortcuts is also possible quite fast, since I have attempted to do so without using any trash cans or any of the other bugs.
Overall, it's safe to say that this is simply the best game of the HN franchise, at least the first one. Pre-alpha for its lean glitch is also hilarious.

9/10, the 2nd best version of hello neighbor, sorta sacrificed the old art style from the first 2 alphas a tiny bit but still has pretty fun mechanics, fun house layout, and the neighbor's ai is good. please just get this and the pre-alpha + alpha 1 instead of buying the full game, you'll thank me for saving your 20 bucks. Weird al approves

With Alpha 2, Hello Neighbor becomes much more intense. The neighbor’s AI adapts better, and the house offers multiple paths and solutions.
The blend of stealth, exploration, and puzzles works very well here. Despite some remaining bugs, Alpha 2 gives a clear idea of what the final game aims to be.
