Über das SpielHello Neighbor is a stealth horror game about sneaking into your neighbor’s house to figure out what horrible secrets he’s hiding in the basement. You play against an advanced AI that learns from your every move. Really enjoying climbing through that backyard window? Expect a bear trap there. Sneaking through the front door? There’ll be cameras there soon. Trying to escape? The Neighbor will find a shortcut and catch you.

I decided to revisit Hello Neighbor because it’s one of my childhood PC games—not my #1, but WOW did I love the absolute heck out of it!
I hadn’t touched it in ages, but back then? I was basically a tiny stealth mastermind. I knew all the ins and outs and could speedrun the whole game in minutes like it was my full-time job.
Coming back now feels like unlocking a chaotic little time capsule of me being way too invested in sneaking into a suspicious neighbor’s house. 10/10 childhood chaos.

ich finde das spiel sehr gut es ist eins von dem original entwickler deswegen ist auch immernoch viel besser aber es ist nichts für kinder unter 6 jahren

Hello Neighbor Alpha 1 ist für mich die perfekte Version des Spiels. Schon in der Alpha Phase war es mysteriös, spannend und voller Charakter, jede Ecke des Hauses fühlte sich lebendig an und die Rätsel waren clever gestaltet. Das Spiel erzeugte eine einzigartige Atmosphäre, die mich richtig in seinen Bann zog.
Alles, was nach Alpha 1 kam, empfand ich als Fehlentscheidungen. Das Spiel entfernte sich komplett von dem, was ich mir erhofft hatte. Für mich bleibt Alpha 1 das Highlight und ein Paradebeispiel dafür, wie viel Potenzial in einem frühen, gut durchdachten Konzept steckt.
